After reading the other reviews about the 60-degree yellow bits in this set not being properly machined or sharpened, I ordered three sets, hoping that at least one of the yellow bits would be good. Well, it turned out that none of the three were correct. The other bits in the set seem fine, but I've only actually used one of the 'silver' 60-degree cutters so far. I'd have thought Genmitsu/Sainsmart would have tightened up the quality control on the yellow bits by now, given the negative reviews. I guess there are still flawed sets in the warehouses, though. (Although there's three fewer out there now). <<< Update >>> Sainsmart Customer Service reached out to me and are sending replacements for the flawed bits. They were quick to respond and sincere in their efforts to make things right. Good to know that customer satisfaction is still paramount in the corporate ideology of some companies. These were either too big or too small for the collet. —UPDATE— Sainsmart Customer Service reached out to me and sent replacements for the flawed bits. They were quick to respond and made more than one attempt to reach me and was very sincere in their efforts to make things right, not only did they replace the router bits they included a set of collets to be on the safe side. Like a lot of other reviewers, the yellow bit was sent to me unsharpened. You'd think these issues would have been worked out by now since it has been a long time since the original reports. I also had some dark spots show up on the uncolored bit. I scraped a little at a spot well away from the cutting edge at the back and the dark spot fell away to reveal pitting in the metal underneath. You can kind of see the speckled pattern near where the shaft connects right in the deepest corner of the flute but I couldn't get a good image of it. Looking closer, I noticed it was even worse in one spot nearer the point, which I originally took to be an air bubble causing issues during manufacture. Buyers should also be aware that the shank sizes (cutting heads seemed accurate) aren't necessarily what's advertised. It shouldn't matter too much for most, but might for a few use-cases. I measured 45.7mm overall for the metal, 47.8mm for the yellow, and 44.25mm overall for the blue, all advertised at 50mm. The blue in particular might cause people some issues given it's off by almost the entire depth of the V edge. Overall these display really poor quality control which really surprised me since the other Genmitsu bits I've bought have been very consistent and high quality for the cost. *Edit: Returned for a replacement hoping I just got unlucky with a bad or old box but it was the exact same issue with the yellow bit unsharpened and the metallic bit showing signs of corrosion, this time on the cutting edge near the tip. I really recommend giving this set a miss unless you have a lot of time to mess around trying to get a correctly made set of bits.* ... show more

These work as expected, but the silver one is useless without an adapter, and it doesn't match the 1/4 shank. There is a 1/2-inch adapter included. God knows what for.
