This chair is not rated to 400lb at all. I weigh 313lbs as of last week, I am working on my weight currently but wanted a heavier chair in the meantime so it would last. This chair has already started to break less than 2 months after purchase but conveniently about a week and a half after the return window ended so now I'm stuck with it. It is not very comfortable to start with but I was okay with sitting on a pillow to compensate for that. But now the chair is starting to lean forward at all times and the raised sides on the seat bottom are breaking loose. This chair is definitely not built for a heavier person and anyone over 200lbs would be lucky if it lasted 6 months. Not worth buying at all ... show more

If you're looking for a soft chair this isn't it. It's not a hard chair either. It's comfortable and supportive. When it arrived, on time, and I unpacked it, I almost had to laugh. It looked funny in pieces. Then I started putting it together and I was impressed with the technology and strength. It took 20 minutes. It was easy, but the instructions were a bit lacking. As a tech support engineer, and a senior citizen, I work from home 8 - 10 hours a day sitting at the computer. This chair is comfortable and flexible. I have been thinking about getting a comfortable chair for a while since remote work during pandemic but always worry to end up with a wrong option. Certainly, this chair did not disappoint me.     • Heavy people BEWARE - after a few months using the wheels start coming out

After 6 months the holes on the base for the casters wore too wide to hold the casters into the chair. Now when you sit in the chair the caster wheels come out of the base. The base is a polymer type of material and the part of the caster that inserts into the base is metal. Since there is no way to fix this the chair is now useless to me. ... show more

It's all that is advertised but it's a little crooked to the side because a hole in where the screws are supposed to be tighten is lower that is supposed to be you can fir it yourself but it's annoying because it's better that some chairs that are more expensive.

I couldnt test it out because an entire area came with empty holes and nothing for the hardware to affix too. It was not damaged simply made faulty. It also was the weirdest assembly I had ever seen on a chair. Its in the trash now.

Easy enough to assemble, probably because it’s total garbage. We got my chair all set up and it leans so far the the left even my 4 year commented on it! Also, if you need a chair in a relatively decent amount of time, look somewhere else - shipping was ridiculous and was delayed more than once.
