I'm using this for movie storage with a Firestick 4K max, OS 7.xx. Works great, but a few special notes. 1. it will not run on the measly 1Amp current supplied by the stock Firestick power supply. So you cannot just plug this into an OTG adapter - will spin up partially, then shut off every 2 seconds. if using this with a USB hub, you'll have to HUB with it's own power supply to drive this - it will not get enough power from the firestick USB connection alone. Another option is to use a 2Amp phone charging power supply [not the stock 1Amp supply] into the Firestick, so that this hard drive can get enough power to run. 2. The only way I could connect this to run was to use the following setup. You'll find that many OTG cables and 90° Usb adapter things to not work. Here is my setup: Firestick 4K max - using stock 1Amp power supply OTG cable MUST BE ONLY THIS ONE: ---Micro USB HUB Adaptor with Power, TUSITA 3-Port Charging OTG Host Cable Cord Adapter. USB HUB plugged into the OTG cable: ---UGREEN USB 3.0 Hub Ethernet Adapter 10 100 1000 Gigabit Network Converter with 3 USB 3.0 Ports Hub Extra 2Amp power supply plugged into the Ugreen hub - purchased separately ---UGREEN AC DC Power Adapter 5V2A - Power Supply Adapter 100-240V, AC Adapter 2000mA, DC Wall Charger Plug with OD: 3.55mm with this setup, the hard drive works great, and I can use the other ports on my hub for bluetooth devices, or for other USB flash drives. ... show more

Esta bien y es Pequeño y muy portable.Lo malo trae 3.62tb de capacidad real no es 4tb. Es rapido mas bien y copia bien.Tiempo dira pero parece buena inversion.Ya veremos si cambio el review este.

    • Hard drive arrived in a carboard envelope through snail mail. Crashes file manager.

Well the title says it all. I was very surprised to see the hard drive shipped in a cardboard envelope with no bubble wrap, when my 2023 calendar and books came with bubble wrap. It wasn't UPS, it was snail mail, so I had little hope that the drive was not damaged in transit. I was able to access it twice. Now when I plug in the drive it slows my system, and if I click on the drive in windows it crashes File Explorer, and my computer freezes until I unplug the HD. Seriously though, who puts a HD in an envelope, and drops it off at the local post office? ... show more
