Looks nice in the vivarium, but any loose irate or fecal matter soaks in and is impossible to remove without disassembling everything to remove and wash out the matting. I’m willing to do that as needed (as with reptile carpet) but not every day/incident. Obviously I can’t return this product, but regret purchasing it. ... show more

We had sand and i read how bad sand is for them so we looked for different things. This seems to be the best for him. We can take it out and clean it off and put it back to keep the cage fresh.

I’ve got a bearded dragon and have been looking for options to have at bottom of tank. I knew from research I that sand is a big no no, but also wanting to have a more natural option for her home. This is a great alternative to still give a natural look and feel.
