  • Very happy.
Style: Creeper Seat
’m getting old, and my knees have seen better days. Every time I wash my vehicle, I either don’t do the wheels, or I do a rush job, because it hurts to get up after squatting for a long time. I began a search for a rolling stool that would help me, and this little gem is the winner. There are many versions of rolling mechanic stools, but the only real difference I could find was price. They all had the same type of inexpensive caster wheels, they all had a very thin, plastic tool tray, and they all had a padded seat. This one was the most inexpensive, even considering that freight place by the harbor (which has much less padding, and no tray compartments). The base comes pre-assembled with the plastic tray and wheels already attached. The only thing to attach are the seat, which has two heavy steel bars that go under it and across from one support to the other, and the two U-shaped supports. I decided to put the long support bolts in from the top down, instead of from the bottom up as shown, because if the acorn nut does come off, I didn’t want to lose the bolt. I can find a nut much easier than a bolt like that. I had it fully assembled in about 5 minutes, and it works perfectly. I’m 185 pounds, and it feels very sturdy to me. If I was a great big person, I imagine I could easily drill and bolt, or even weld a couple of short supports to close the “U” in the front. But at my weight, it seems very sturdy. The black plastic tray was broken in two places where they pre-assembled the wheels, but it still works fine. The seat is nicely padded, and fine for short jobs. I wouldn’t want to sit on it all day, but that’s not what this is for. Another reviewer made a great video, so I’m not going to bother – although my stool is flat and does NOT wobble. I think this is a really great rolling stool for roughly 25 bucks, and my knees are very thankful. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good!
Style: Creeper Seat
This rolling mechanic chair is surprisingly good for a cheap price. I got this during a sale which made it an even better deal. Assembly was easy with only a small confusion about which side of the frame to put one set of washers on, at least that is what I remember. It has been several months since I purchased and assembled. I use this to work on the car and bicycles and it works well for that. There hasn’t been any noticeable drooping of the seat due to use but I was a little concerned that might happen. I’d say it’s probably not anything to worry about. The tray is probably the only real concern. Sure, the wheels could be a little smoother rolling but they seem like they will be durable. But the tray is a light weight plastic and seems like it may break one day. I would definitely not leave this exposed to sun. The plastic the tray is made of seems like the type that would dry out and crack if exposed to sunlight. It is more of a nice to have for me, but it would be disappointing if it breaks. Overall, it has a nice comfortable seat that is wide enough and seems durable. I would recommend this if the price is right and you are looking for one! ... show more

  • Stool on wheels
Style: Creeper Seat
Sturdy. Moves around easily. I like the sections on the shelf underneath. It's not too heavy. It's just the right size to use to foot zone. It looks nice.

  • I am a construction electrician
Style: Creeper Seat
I’ve had this for a couple weeks now. I am an electrician and we always find ourselves hurting most after trim out/rough in stages of work. This thing isn’t the most heavy duty but it’s absolutely a game changer at an amazing price point. My apprentice has been using it while making up outlet boxes all day and says it’s life changing(he’s got some back issues, as do I!). Much more comfy and efficient than a bucket and a box for wire scraps. The tray on the bottom is awesome for lugging around scraps, screws, wire nuts etc. I suggested it to my contractor and now they are ordering a bunch for the job site. Great for productivity, better for the knees and back, a happier worker! I will be buying these as gifts for sure! Maybe even another for the house 😄 ... show more

  • Fine but awful quality control
Style: Creeper Seat
I have it assembled and it will work, but it was missing lock washers per the instructions, and I needed to toss out one of the acorn nuts for having no thread. I used a 5/16 nut that I had and forced it into the screw to rethread it. Product is fine but they need to work on the quality control. -2 stars ... show more
