As I get older, I find I need to compensate for a 21 year old mind being stuck in a 68 year old body. I needed to do some work on my wife car inside both the front doors, (door latch and window switches). I knew kneeling or sitting on cold concrete was not something I wanted to do. This stool fit the bill perfectly. It's adjustable so I can reach the upper and lower parts of the door. It will also be great for doing brake work on either of our cars. Some people complained that the nuts holding the wheels on loosen up and the wheels fall off. Thanks for the heads up. That's what Loctite 242 is made for. I took all the casters off, treated the studs with 242, and I don't think the casters will be loosening up any time soon. Overall, very happy with the purchase. However, it does move freely about. I stood up to readjust the window in the track and heard a slight rattling noise. I looked over and found the stool happily rolling down the driveway towards the street. I chased it down before it got there, and now I am a little more careful when standing up. Better than not being maneuverable, though. ... show more

I'm slightly over capacity for this stool but the only issue that presents is the casters come loose. I'm sure if I were under 250 it would be flawless. Good product and good price

For 30$, this thing works just fine. No issue rolling around on my garage floor and on my driveway. I was surprised how powerful the height adjustment cylinder is. The thing that surprised me the most was assembly time. It literally took less than 10 seconds. The wheels were already assembled on the tray, so all that's required is just insert the cylinder into the tray and the seat onto the cylinder. No tools required. The seat foam could be better, but hey, this thing cost 30$, so no complaint as I won't use this all that often and whenever I do, it wont be for hours on end. ... show more

This is a very inexpensive rolling shop seat. I would say the title of their description is misleading, I would not call this unit heavy duty.. The stool is adequate for what I do, but as you roll around on the seat which can spin the casters, the nuts holding the casters to the base can unthread causing the stool to suddenly tip. This has happened three times despite my carefully tightening the nuts. They do have lock washers, but apparently they are so weak that they simply don't work. ... show more
