The media could not be loaded. The instructions came dusty and the hose doesn’t fit any of my faucets so I pour water in over the clothes. Other than that, it gets clothes clean. I live in a small apartment that doesn’t have washer/dryer hookups. It’s been a life and money saver. Suggestions: Avoid over filling the wash side. The spin side works best when filled to capacity.     • Ribs great but...draining
The machine runs great, have clothes a good wash but the problem is it will not drain water from the wash basin. I literally had to pick it up and turn it over my tub to pour the water out.

I was surprised to even find this washer/dryer that ships to Hawaii with such a nice affordable price. Keeping the price in mind, I wasn’t expecting much more than a toy. It shipped really quick and upon arrival I was shocked at the size and weight of the washer; it wasn’t difficult to carry up our steep driveway. Upon opening this little gem, I noticed a burnt wire smell. My husband, an electrician, did not. So I read the booklet and tried it out on a small load of whites; no bleach, just a small squirt of Dr. Bronner’s spearmint Castile soap (great all around cleaner)., and warm water. I had placed the machine into our shower stall for easy filling and draining. I bypassed the filling hose and just put our shower head into the wash side, threw in four items and turned the timer. It’s hard not to just stand there and be amazed as this cute little washer did it’s thing. In a few minutes it was done so I drained it and filled it once more and let it run for a few minutes, drained again and threw half the items into the “dryer” (spinner). At first it had a hard time getting to its maximum spin speed so I stopped it and added the other items (soaking wet) put the plastic insert back in, closed the lid, twisted the timer and held the machine steady til it got up to maximum speed. No problem. When water stopped coming out of the drain hose I turned it off nd to my surprise the items were nearly dry and totally clean! Next I tried my husband’s work shirts. You know those hi vis polyester stain suckers? 4 in and this time used some shampoo and cold water. They came out cleaner than they ever had using any of our regular washers! Freakishly clean! No smell like they usually have after washing! Had to run them a few times but not longer than it would take to wash them in a regular washer. Unbelievable. I immediately thought of all my handwashable garments that would benefit from this washer and even the dry clean only items I could use this washer for! In conclusion, the burnt smell had no adverse effects. I love the intimacy this washer gives you with your clothing. The only cons were a rusty screw we found under a sticker under the dryer lid but it just had some water caught in there. My husband checked the undercarriage and motor and found no other corrosion. We replaced that screw with a brass one. It may be a hassle for some to do so many small loads but I love my clothes so I don’t mind and this washer does such a great job and saves on soap and drying time so it pays itself off in no time. The media could not be loaded. Peace and Blessings! This machine is pretty useful if you choose to buy it. There are pros and cons with this. The instructions are useless, and so is the smaller drain pipe that comes with the machine. It does not fit on any of the sinks, tubs, etc. in order for you to have water in the washing machine area. If you have something small enough then it can be useful for you. I used a bucket to fill up the washing machine part as recommended by other reviews I seen. It can only take a small amount of clothes so this is very time consuming. The spinner part needs to be filled in order for it to spin properly. Make sure you are putting the plastic safety cover on the inside to keep your clothes from falling out of the spinner. As far as draining the machine, the middle dial is your best friend. Where it says Standard and Spin. The standard will be for when you’re washing, then when you are done washing, turn the dial to Spin to drain. It is very hard to turn at first but it’ll get easier. Make sure you have the machine elevated otherwise IT WILL NOT DRAIN! I put a basket under it inside of my tub to keep it elevated and it drained that way. The spinner does not fully dry your clothes so you will have to dry your clothes completely or air dry them. Overall it is a good buy, other than the cons and extra work. I personally say, it’s worth it! It definitely saves money if you have to go to a laundry mat and/or live in an apartment where you have to pay to wash. Love these little washers! They really fit perfectly in the bathroom of an apartment of in a bathroom in a big house for washing cleaning rags and mop heads. Although this one I bought ended up with a rare manufacturing mistake so the spinner didn’t work (happens once in a blue moon with any product). The seller is not at fault. I had to return it but I have bought one in the past and used it for 2 years. The spinner is great and spins the clothes really good so you can throw them in a dryer or hang them up to dry fast. Great little machine lasts for a while. Definitely recommend! Can fit a lot more clothes than expected to. It’s not too noisy either. This machine works with an agitator like the new Samsung washer do but it’s smaller and better in my opinion honestly. ... show more
