First of all I was always losing one side light or the other in my opener I have two garage doors and it was the same on both sides and 90% of the time I had to push the opener several times b4 the door would open. So I googled and found out it’s recommended to buy garage door light bulbs. So I did and no issues what so ever.. door opens first click and both sides of the lights are on.. Remote for Garage Door Opener recently stopped working unless the remote was very close to the opener. Installed new batteries, didn't help. About the time I started having problems, I had replaced a burned out LED bulb, but I had no idea that was the problem. Was going to install an antenna range extender, but then I saw these. Figured I would give them a try. Issue immediately went away, and now my remote is back to it's old self. These bulbs work! ... show more

I worked my tail off running extended wires for my 2 garage doors, and the remotes were still not working well if at all at times. It turned out that the nice, bright tri-fold lights I bought were blocking the signal. I replaced them with these Torchstar bulbs, and now we can open the doors from at least 30' away. ... show more

I don't always take the time to write reviews but this is something that I thought would be good to review considering that I was going to buy the name brand that are reputable and technically would be more prone to last a longer time. Out of the box these work great. they are bright and don't interfere at all with the opener. Purchased these in May 4, 2023 and will see how long they last. I'm hoping a very long time. When they give out I will update the review and then we'll know the durability. If you are reading this and I haven't updated it, then they are still working. :-) ... show more
