I love the light it’s bright, the hight is perfect!!! When setup your light it wants you to down load the app, but it doesn’t work with the app. Then it lets Alexa link to the app but the bulb want link to Alex. So the bulb want link to NOTHING try it on iPhone , android, Alexa, && our Google then I seen it says something about hotspot so i try that NOTHING!!! App never finished setting up. One bright light. Cannot get any other colors. Cannot is the app. Don't but it if you want more than a single white bright light because that's all that works.

    • Inexpensive torchiere, but includes 60-watt equivalent Smart LED bulb.
This is an interesting approach to offering a "smart" torchiere. The lamp is an inexpensive standard lamp body; something I would expect to pay about $10 for at a local discount store. The shade is lightweight plastic. It's a very simple style, which is a positive. The joins for the pieces of pipe that make up the pole aren't obvious once it's assembled, which is another plus. To obtain its "smart" capabilities, the lamp includes a Smart LED bulb that can be controlled either with the SmartLife app, which can also be linked to Alexa, Google and other Smarthome systems. Once linked, the bulb is easily controlled to show a wide variety of colors or shades of white and is fully controllable by Alexa (in my experience.) I'm a fan of the SmartLife app and use it for a number of products. The lamp itself isn't all that bright. I would prefer something that's capable of producing more light output that I could then dim if desired. However, this does a decent job of creating ambient mood lighting. Basically, what you're paying for with this device is the lightbulb. The lamp body is nothing special, but it if you're looking for an inexpensive means to obtain a Smart torchiere, this may be a good option. ... show more

Nice standard looking lamp with basic common sense installation. The app installs quickly but pairing it with lamp can get a lil irritating! Took me about 10 min to finally get it paired but it does connect eventually even if other reviews says it does not! I like that you can not only choose color but you can also chose the brightness! I like the calming blue color it preps me for bedtime! ... show more

I purchased a similar light at a big box store for half the price. If I'd put a smart bulb in it, it would have been the same thing as this for less. It was a struggle to get the smart bulb on this lamp actually connected to the app. (OMG!!) I'd just about given up. I ended up using the far right bottom setting for the light (for unknown) and manually input the wifi info and it finally worked - and that's in a desperate last ditch effort when none of the others worked. I was nearly convinced I'd just have to use it as a regular lamp and switch it on and off. Sorry but I don't recommend it. You get what you pay for. More expensive options work better - and I speak from experience. 3 stars. ... show more
