  • Did the trick!
Product works well, and just as an install note , it is not a perfect direct fit for '07 and up tundra. There is a second locating dowel in the spring pack I imagine to keep the springs from drifting sideways. There was no mention of this in the directions, and the pin had to be removed to finish the install. With it all torn down I had no choice at that point. Time will tell if it is detrimental or not. ... show more

  • Words Great!! I do have some advice... **EDIT**
Truck: 2016 Tundra CrewMax I used the instructions and some videos online, and the installation was actually easier than I was worried it would be. It gave me about a 1.5" lift, and the ride feels no different than stock. I got it to prevent squat while towing our trailer. I have not tried it yet, but I have had around 500lbs in the bed and it only brought the bed down a little. I do have some advice: -Get the entire kit (U-bolts and shims), you will need all of it -Watch a few videos online and decide for yourself the best way to install it (I did not follow their instructions exactly) -Do not include the overload leaf when you clamp the leaf springs, and keep the other leaf springs clamped the entire time (install at first step, remove at last step) -The overload leaf does have a pin, and WD-40 can help remove it -Do not compress this add-a-leaf with the single bolt on top, use a jack and the weight of the truck (raise the jack a bit, then tighten the bolt a bit, and then continue that until there is no light between) -I definitely recommend installing a sway bar (Amazon has them for cheaper than the TRD one) ***EDIT*** Not long after I added this leaf spring, my truck started creaking and popping when I articulated the axle. It took a while to figure out, but the issue is that the new leaf spring puts pressure on the original leaves that was not there before, and that was where the creaking was coming from. I separated the original leaves with a large screwdriver and sprayed white lithium grease very liberally. Now everything is quiet back there! ... show more

  • Spring alignment is easy
Great product, easier if you disassemble one side at a time. You will need a ratchet strap to attach to opposite side leaf spring so you can ratchet over the new leaf pack into proper alignment (lower bolt head needs to go into recessed hole). Hardest part of install, just takes a little time.

  • Great item
Very easy install on my 2002 tundra set, asnfar as disassembly onnannopd rusty toyota, have a torch, get the new u holts, as well as shim & probably bump stops. If ur going off road I did shocks a as well, only hardware incould salvage was the bottom shock bolts. That was definitely no fault of torches, the product brought my old tired springs back to life. I got a 1.75" lift while adding a 75# rear bumper!!! Highly recomend products. ... show more

  • Cheap, Simple, Effective
Installed myself on my 2007 Tundra Long Bed, works great, lifted the rear about 1.5” and brought some life back into my rear leaf packs

  • Time will tell, but it is a big improvement from blocks!
2017 Tundra TRD Off-Road 4wd. Install was fairly easy and straightforward, but I did make a couple mistakes on one side, but the other side was much easier. There is a metal dowel on the stock spring pack that you will have to remove, I just hope the isolators on these things keep the springs aligned. I recommend going to a home improvement center and buying some thicker stainless steel bolts for the spring pack, I actually broke one of these that came with the sat while tightening it down. Mostly did these because I have a 17’ trailer now, so I removed the 2 inch lift blocks I had for better spring performance and load capacity, and of course it’s just better on your entire suspension overall compared to blocks. I also do some fairly technical trails while overlanding. I did notice because I carry a 12V fridge in my bed and have a camper shell, that it now sits about a quarter inch lower than my blocks did, but my truck is still 100% level, so I don’t really care. Can’t wait to hook up my trailer and see if it took care of that squat. ... show more
