I bought Topix for my daughter who is in the hospital. Its questions are a nice way to calmly pass the time when she feels like talking. There is always more we can learn about each other and a nice, non-competitive game provides just the atmosphere for that. I look forward to sharing Topix with others and learning more about friends and family through it. The construction of the games is good, too. The box is strong and the graphic design is appealing. Got this to get my husband and I talking about other things besides our kids and stress. Our 14 year old was reading some questions just looking at it and thought it was dumb. My husband and I thought they were really dumb questions that didn't really start conversations. Being married it didn't help us BUT good for new friends and couple to break ice. Or maybe team building with a group. Just not what we were looking for ... show more

Purchased to keep conversation going with my 13 year old son during long drives for athletic travels - worked like a charm! One single card kept us talking for an hour and a half. Not all are appropriate for parent/child conversation (at least with a young teen), but they weren't advertised to be which is a big reason we picked out this set. Any cards that didn't work for us we just skipped over, and I can use them with different audiences! I recommended this set to his entire team, all the parents thought it was a great idea. WAY better than sitting in a car for 4-5 hours with a kid playing on their phone who isn't old enough to share driving responsibility.
