Now he sleeps like a rock, and the bags under his eyes from years of sleep deprivation are starting to recede. When I use it, it feels like a nice soothing hug. The blanket is pretty even and dense (I got him the heaviest one because he’s a big guy). It’s also surprisingly cool for such a heavy thing, but the fabric is a little coarse. He’s fine with it but I think it could use a duvet cover. Anyway, if you’re considering this to help with sleep issues, you should get it. Almost feels like it’s filled with tiny beads or large sand, so I’m praying my cat doesn’t rip a hole in it, but a weighted blanket has been a life changer for me. I am obsessed with mine & my daughter loved it so much I got her one too. It’s literally like it sedates me when I use it. It’s definitely not easy to move since it’s heavy, & it wouldn’t be good in hot weather, but it’s been my saving grace after weeks of being sleep deprived from light body tremors. Loved the blanket, today makes exactly two months since I bought it and I woke up with beads ALL OVER MY BED! At first it was a few beads here and there and I couldn’t figure out what it was and then today it was thousands of beads. I wish I was exaggerating but they’re a hassle to clean up. Turns out there was a tiny busted seam. Overall it’s a nice blanket, doesn’t get too hot or anything but isn’t durable if you plan on using it to replace your daily blanket.
