I was excited to get this but I had an extremely hard time opening up the side latches. I had to turn it over to pry it open but that won't work with cupcakes inside. I thought if I opened and closed it a few times it would loosen up, but I couldn't even close one of the latches. It was returned. I am changing my overall rating from 1 to 4 stars. I exchanged it for another of the same item and only took two days to get it. This one opens and closes much easier. It still takes a slight pull to get the latches open so I trust that it won't open on it's own. Because many other reviews said the top handle comes off, I won't carry it from the top handle. ... show more

This is a must have for cupcakes so they can be stored into the fridge without getting them smashed on top of each other when stored in a container with the the cupcake tiers. Works well and great value for the money. The container is sturdy as well.
