THIS IS FOR REGION 2! (as warned) Before ordering, I checked online for my Blu-Ray model number and yes, it was region free so said all the ads. Get the disks... and no, it won't play. Find the Sony manual and no, it isn't region free like all the ads say, and none of the "hacks" work to make it region free. BUT I also have my Mac hooked to my TV and it played it like a champ. So figure that out before ordering. Other than that, these are my favorite parts of Top Gear. Plus Top Gear in America was only an hour usually, so it was edited. These have parts I have never seen before which are great. Can't recommended enough. ... show more

I LOVE having all of the Top Gear specials - from back when TG was the real deal - available to watch anytime I want, and for most episodes, with additional content in each that didn't originally air on BBC. The one kicker ... if you live in the US, you have to get (or have) a multi-format DVD player to watch these, as they are burned to the Euro standard, not the US standard. No biggie, there are a few available at pretty low cost from multiple retailers. ... show more

    • Know your DVD zone before purchase.
I was very happy with the product but it did cause issue. If you buy this you will need a zone 2 DVD player or a multi zone DVD player to watch this in the US. The US is zone one and ours wil not play them. I had to by a multi zone DVD player just to watch them.

    • You do need to change the region code but it’s SO SIMPLE!
My husband and I love Top Gear, especially the specials! I was so happy to find this. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that we did have to change the region code on our DVD player in order to watch this. I Googled how to change the code and it took all of 2 minutes to do! So simple! Don’t let the region code part scare you. It’s an easy fix! ... show more

I liked the fact than many of the specials were "Director's Cut". Worth buying a Region 2 DVD player.

Great package love the specials. Had to buy region free dvd player but I had been wanting one for awhile this gave me an excuse to buy one. Picture quality for these rival my blu-ray disc's. Well worth the money.
