Had someone had the discipline, this could have been a wonderful series for children (say, junior high school and above) and parents alike. The problem is, there is a great deal of profanity throughout what seems to be every episode. "Jesus" and "Christ" both appear numerous times in most (all?) episodes, along with variations of the word sh*t, also found an almost uncountable number of times throughout the series. I realize that for some parents, what I said above makes no difference to you. So this is just for those who would like to know this up front. My second problem is, I do not recall laughing in the first two series. I did find the series to pick up steam after that (in the humor department). Mark Heap, of course, is nearly always funny, even though many of the bits are simply repeated. He still makes them funny. ... show more

This show is hilarious!!!! My husband and I laugh our assess off watching it. We introduced my parents to it this summer, and they were busting a gut too. It's our all time favorite!!!

Truly hilarious series, was happy to find it available on DVD. Had to purchase a cheap un-zoned DVD player to watch these, but totally worth it!

I am only familar w/ 2 actors: Mark Heap, wow, first saw him in "Lark Rise to Candleford". Then in "Spaced". This is same actor?? In "Miranda" (another BRILLIANT Brit show... get it!!!!) and in this show as Jim. Again, same actor?? He has quite an EXTENSIVE professional list... "Octopussy"? Check out his wiki history if a fan. And Simon Bird... yeah, umm obviously "Inbetweeners". ... show more

This is not everyone's 'cup of tea' and I didn't get it straight away. Very English, very absurd. WILL NOT PLAY ON US PLAYERS, you need a region free for this to work.
