These are the classic Tootsie Fruit Chews that I was looking for but I do agree with other reviewers about the size of the bag. I am disappointed that the bag was small, the picture was misleading so maybe adding the oz of the product to the description of the product at the least would be helpful to those looking to buy these in bulk... As for the taste of these, they are what I remember so I do not know why that is a problem for some of the reviewers. ... show more

They look like they had been melted & smashed, then frozen. Hard and brittle. $8.99 for 23 pieces that cannot eat without breaking a tooth. Very disappointing.

I haven't seen these in the grocery store. It's been years since I had any. It reminds me of the Christmas my sister and I got a Toot Sweet whistle maker, a Matel toy based on the Disney movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It came with the fruit flavored tootsie rolls, before that they only came in chocolate. I was happy when I saw you could still get fruit flavored tootsie rolls.     • I love tootsie rolls
They are my favorites! But the bag was too small and hardly and cherry or vanilla it was mostly all lemon and green!
