I don’t know what it is, but I feel like these cute little salt and pepper shakers have added so much character to my boring kitchen. They are durable quality and easy to fill. The holes at the top allow for just the right amount of salt/pepper to come out, not too much or too little.

I have recently gotten into bird watching, and I was so excited to receive these salt and pepper shakers. They are so cute and just a tiny little size. The dark headed pigeon has two holes on its head and the light headed pigeon has one hole. I prefer to have my salt in the one with more holes on top, which might be confusing to have the salt in the dark pigeon. I think most people prefer their pepper in the shaker with more openings, but not me. The hole to fill the birds is a tiny hole on the bottom with a rubber stopper. I used a piece of paper rolled up like a funnel to get the salt and pepper from my big bottles into the shakers. ... show more

To give you the answer, one of them is hole-less! There’s a faint mark where the hole should’ve been, but no hole! Kind of defeats the purpose of salt and pepper shakers now. They are cute and quirky just like the Genuine Fred brand always is, but quite a bummer to not be functional.
