  • Flimsy tire Iron
Once mounted to concrete, I found that the 16" motorcycle rim would not stop spinning as I continued to apply more and more force to the adjuster. That coupled with the bending of the tire iron I am not recommended this product to anyone. Even with the gallon of tire lube it was difficult due to the bent tire iron. I've changed hundreds of dirt bike and ATV tires by hand over a bucket. Figure this would make my life easier with my Harley. Not so much. After reinforcing the weak weld joint on the tire iron with a gusset and more weld it worked better. Still not able to exert enough pressure to keep my rim from spinning while putting the new tire on. Ended up back to the old three tire spoon method. ... show more

  • PEX pipe & zip ties ftw
Couple tips: 1.Use a couple zip ties to help squeeze in the tire before you try to pry the tire up and over. 2. I didn't have any rim guards, but I had some PEX pipe laying around, cut a slit in a couple small sections and it worked fantasticly to protect the rim, may work for u as well. This is was on a 2011 zx6r ... show more

  • I think it's worth the money
I bought this because I have 3 lawn tractors, lawn tractor trailers and wheel barrows and I'm tired of working on tires on the ground. The item was easy to put together but the instructions called for different hardware than what was included. Definitely bolt it down because it will move around if you don't. It is a workout when you use it. Definitely use tire soap when working on a tire but be warned the soap will get on the rubber coated clamps and the rim will move. Overall I think its worth the money ... show more

  • Make sure rim is tight
I got this for changing golf cart and mini truck tires at work. Works great once you get the hang of it. I would recommend tightening the clamps on the rim tighter than you initially want to because I experienced the rim slipping or popping out. Once it is tight it is locked in place and won’t budge. I only use the tire spoon/tool when putting on the new tire because I prefer to use a longer one when taking off. Overall I would recommend ... show more

  • Pay’s for itself with a couple of tire changes.
I’m using this to change tires on my street motorcycles. After doing the 1st one I realized that the machine absolutely needs to be bolted down into concrete. Once I figure out where to permanently bolt it it’ll be great. The instructions could be better. All & all its a a great product, especially for price. I’ve used a bead breaker & tire irons for the past 40yr’s. Or paid $25 + tire disposal. Why didn’t I do this sooner? It pays for itself with a few tire changes. ... show more

  • Find a good anchor.
The tire changer worked perfectly as it was intended just pulled the anchors out of the cement a couple of times that was a pain in the butt.
