Very solid set of bits that works great. I knew I had some assembly projects coming up in a few-day window, including a computer/gaming console desk, two gaming chairs, and a bike, so I picked these up since I didn't have any good hex-head bits to fit my drill. These bits came in very handy and work great. They fit tight in the heads of the bolts and screws and there were no problems with stripping or slipping. These are exactly what I never knew that I needed. I dont know about you, but I have built so much box-furniture over the years that I am often called upon by family and friends to help build them out (As I did quite a bit outfitting store-locations for a certain job I used to have). Since I am always recruited to do it, the most annoying thing about them is that Allen Wrench they send to screw everything together. Always have a phillips or a flat head ready, but they were ALWAYS Allen Keys! So I finally thought to find this "drill bit" set so I could speed up the next time someone asked me to build something! I also dont like the stingy pain in my hands and fingers after building 1-2 shelves/tables/dressers. My girlfriend was like "that seems to be a little much... why bother to go that far just for furniture?" Well My friends, that very girlfriend requested me to help build out a small kitchen table. It was on a particularly time crunched day. 4 Chairs, 1 table, around 16 keys per chair and 12 or 14 for the table. Now, Im not going to lie, you can't ALWAYS get into the small corners you may need an allen key for with a drill... BUT, with that in mind, I only had to hand tighten about 1/4th of the total allen keys, and my build time definitely improved. I usually take 1.5 hours building a medium or large sized shelf/table/dresser by myself. Not the fastest, but consistent and its always correct when I am done. This one only took me an hour flat, and my hands were thanking me! Very clutch set to have if you are the resident "builder" for all the boxed up furniture. Just know, it wont completely kill the need for that crappy allen key, but it will help minimize the use of it. Excellent buy. ADVICE: Just try to use it with mostly pulsing on the trigger or gently on the trigger. The Allen bit is awesome, but the allen KEYS you screw in are not always the strongest material. If you hit the drill on high speed for long, it will strip the allen screw-heads. But if you pulse it gently into place, You can avoid stripping, and make things way easier. ... show more

My inventory of hex head bits was waning so I decided it was time to purchase new ones. This set comes in holders, one for the SAE sizes and one for metric, which make it very easy to keep them together and less chance to lose any. After a few weeks of using them, they appear high-quality and work very well with my impact driver and electric screw driver. They come in very handy when assembling furniture with dozens of hex head bolts and screws. I would purchase these again if/when they wear out. ... show more

    • Great bits, really strong, perfect for torque rated breaker terminations using an 1/8 allen head.

Great bits, arrived quickly, packaged nicely and a super terrific bargain for impact rated. I purchased these specifically for torquing breaker terminations, as I tend to swap out the Siemans flat head breaker lugs for 1/4 28, 3/8 in oval tipped set screws. The allen head set screws allow for proper torque to be applied safely and securely, wherein the flat head screws can often shatter at higher torque settings. These drivers easily torque to 35 in lbs, as rated for 6 gauge THHN. Great bits, highly recommend. Love the color too, makes them easy to see in the tool bag. Kinda look like Klein orange, which of course, I like. ... show more

You might be thinking something like, "why would I need more than ONE M3 hex bit? I take care of my stuff, and I don't lose my bits!" Well, let me give some reasons -you have to deal with a lot of 3mm hex screws all the time -you have multiple sets of pneumatic rims and wheels for multiple boards in different locations -you have multiple electric screwdrivers to use with your multiple boards -you have more than one non-electric-ratchet screwdriver to use them with -you hate running back to the bench and changing out bits frequently when you're working with multiple things at once -you want to take a tool along on a ride with you and not worry about losing the bit -you might have a kid or relative that might need to "borrow" one randomly when you're out riding or at their house. -you wanna keep a couple in your car in case you need one for something -you noticed that there's a surprising amount of M3 hex bolts in the wild out there that you might want to mess with That's about it, but this is like a dollar a bit, and I was happy to have extras, I loving having them in tools and not having to change them ... show more
