I’m a router novice. I don’t know if professionals use this machine, but my sense is they could. It is very well built. I expect to try it on many more materials than just the wood I’ve tried so far and plan to make gifts for family for upcoming holidays. The emergency stop button is an excellent accessory that I hope never to need, but it is there. I just wish it were large enough to engrave on a 3’x6’ door. 😊 ... show more

The router motor will power through appropriate depth slices in wood. The 1/8” spindle cutting tools are inexpensive and readily available. Build quality is excellent. Way better than most. Assembly was quick and simple. Once assembled, this machine is solid. It is all metal. It is very quiet. The work area is about 12 x 7 inches. It comes with the software you will need to operate it. You will need to get some end mills. When you figure out which ones you like, buy several. They are a consumable item. The instructions booklet is pretty clear with pictures and descriptions and there's a wiring diagram at the end. Every wire is labeled clearly. It takes time but it is not difficult. Sincerely, a woman.Firstly I'm impressed with the solid build of this thing, can't wait to see what it can do.
