I loved it the first 2 garments I steamed it worked great! I refilled the water tank and it started leaking. I’m so disappointed. I’m letting it cook down and I’ll try it again. If it still does it I’m sending it back. ☹️

    • Great for an occasional use or limited space!
We all need to steam some clothes somethings. And I don't have a lot of space so a a travel steamer sounded like a wonderful idea. The unit heated up very quickly and steam was coming out in no time. The handle has three positions. I like the 45 degree angle for couple of reasons. When the handle is at 90 degrees, it's hard to get to the button that fold it. When I was to put the device down, it felt natural to put it done on end with the water tank. The 90 degrees feels like it might tip the device over. The end where the steam comes out is made of metal plate. I put the plate right up against my suit with no problem. I steamed a wrinkled up suit. It took me few minutes but all the wrinkled came out. The unit comes with a bag you can store it in. The bag isn't flimsy either. But I wouldn't feel comfortable putting a hot steamer in it. (The manual says nothing about that either). The water tank is clear and it's facing you so you can tell when the water is running low. The travel steamer came with a funnel to make it easier to pour the water into a tiny hole. I used it and worked fine. The unit fold it up into a cylinder. They didn't come up with an ingenius way to hold the cord. I wish it had a velcro or something to keep it tidy.     • Nice little steamer for home or travel
I needed a new steamer and the portability of this unit was a plus. I keep it in the closet ready to go when I need to knock out some wrinkles real quick while getting dressed. I used to have a large, floor steamer but it eventually died after many, many years. This has been a great replacement and it is so much more compact. The steamer heats up quickly and produces steam in less than a minute. It puts out plenty of steam to quickly get those wrinkles out of your clothes. I have also used it on a hat that I was trying to clean and had success with the steam helping clean up the stains with a light brush. The steamer is compact and would be easy to carry in a suitcase when traveling. I love that it is compact and just keep it on a shelf in the closet. No more lost floorspace with a big bulky steamer thanks to this unit! I have had a great experience with this steamer so far and I am enjoying having a steamer again! ... show more

    • Does the job but a little slow and underpowered
This is my first clothes steamer in almost 20 years. It's a nice, easy-to-use design but it feels a bit underpowered and slow compared to a regular iron or what I remember a steamer did back then. It's okay in terms of build quality and is useful for clothes with textures that can't be ironed. It's compact and great for traveling, though it's heavier than I was expecting and has a small water tank port that's hard to clean. Note that the plastic case around the top gets hot and takes a while to cool. The cord could be a few inches longer too. It also comes in a relatively nice retail box so it is giftable. ... show more

    • Just what I needed
Unfortunately, I lost my wife this past year. She would always meticulously wash, dry and iron our laundry. Since her loss, I have relied on shaking my laundry after it comes out of the dryer which, as you know, is a rudimentary and ineffective solution to wrinkled clothing. Luckily, the Tontata travel dryer became available, and I ordered it. I have used it several times and have been extremely pleased with the results. The unit heats up very quickly and produces plenty of steam which eliminates most of the wrinkles on my clothing, I like the handle and the reservoir is easy to fill with the correct sized funnel provided. It is so convenient and i love it because I cannot iron without a lot of setting up, determining the correct temperature, and fumbling with the right angle for a "perfect" ironed apparel. The size of the unit is perfect and convenient for traveling and storage at home. The only recommendation I would make to the manufacturer is that the cord is too thick and very short, making it cumbersome to steam each item without using an extension cord (which is probably unsafe).     • Works, but is a little slow compared to an iron
This is my first clothes steamer, so I'm not sure how powerful a regular close steamer i a, but this portable one feels a bit underpowered to me. I find that I have to have the steamer very close to the clothing in order for it to remove wrinkles. It also works fairly slowly, as compared to an iron. The build quality seems okay. I've used it several times and it is still working just fine. They get cord is long enough to reach a wall socket and still be usable on clothing. Where I found this to be useful is with clothing that have textures that cannot be ironed. For these clothing, even though this steamer is slow, it works well. I think for traveling, it's compact size is very handy. Even though it may be a little underpowered, this is probably a great option to travel with. ... show more

    • Compact steamer
I don't have a lot of shirts that need ironing or steaming, but on occasions do need to steam a shirt for events to get rid of wrinkles. I used to use a big tall steamer with a hanger attachment and a hull that holds water like a vacuum cleaner almost. It was effective, but took up so much room and I never needed all that water for just 1-2 shirts. This travel steamer is actually perfect for me for everyday use. It's super compact and that's a huge plus when my apartment lacks storage places to begin with, and it holds enough water to steam continuously for 10 minutes, which is more than enough for my tasks. The results were very comparable. The travel steamer heated up way faster due to the smaller tank, but was just as effective when used as my large steamer. The build quality can be a bit better but acceptable for the price. I'm very happy with this compact steamer and have already given my large one away to my friend. ... show more
