I didn’t read the description very well- there is no backing to provide slip resistance so it slides around the floor quite easily. And it runs a bit thinner in size, almost more of a runner then what I would consider to be a kitchen rug. Guess I merely looked at length & not the width. These rugs are thin and offer no support for standing on them in the kitchen. The ad leaves you to believe they are a short shag or tight weave rug and they are not. I'm not even sure how to describe them. Not worth the money. They're made out of cloth. They do have a non slip backing but that's the only good quality. Don't waste your money on these. The thinnest piece of pads or rug or mats ever bought in my life..the price expensive for this type of mat)rug..plus I placed it by my sink and stove if I put my feet on top all it does it slip left right..very unstable..unsteady like..good for a small bathroom not kitchen my opinion!

Love the color and style, the only downside is that they are very light weight and therefore slide. I'll be looking for similiar style but rubberized or heavy weighted. They don't stay in place unfortunately and have caused several trips and slips.
