I bought this one and the smaller one, 2 flaps, for tire rotations and getting under the car. The 2 flap is easier to work with in terms of moving it from place to place. About 5 years ago I was shopping for something else and Amazon said "don't you need one of these" and I thought "Yes, yes I do." Not because I've ever turned a wrench on a car but because I'm an avid gardener. The fact that the pad folds into multiple configurations means I can easily put it down in spaces only two or three sections wide and if I'm working in a longer area, I can lay it all the way out and not have to stand and reposition the pad so often. It is made of a hard core foam that makes it almost impervious to punctures from sticks and stones. This has really been beneficial crawling under my house checking a sump pump. The pad is light weight but thick and easy to stretch out or just use a few of the layers. Wish I'd bought this a few years ago. I'll get lots of good use from it.

Got this as a Father's Day gift for my son who is a diesel mechanic. He does roadside repairs and also travels to truck lots to work. Usually he's on gravel or uneven surfaces where his creeper is useless. He told me this pad gives him protection and more comfort while working under a truck. He sent me the picture of the pad in use. He said it's the perfect size, durable and folds for easy storage. He uses it all the time and it's holding up very well.
