Style: Turbo Fogger
This is a low cost machine. No frills and lowest cost construction. But it works very well and looks as though it will last if cared for properly. The instructions are minimal but if followed, are functional. The plastic and the construction all feel like the engineers were building the minimum for the lowest cost point. HOWEVER: it works very well. First job was to spray my orchard with Bordeaux spray. You'll have to experiment with the spray pattern and the flow rate controls to get what you want. No guidance. But after a couple of trial and errors I found what worked for me and spraying the entire orchard was very fast and very efficient. So: overall I am very glad I got this machine as it will make my life easier. I haven't tried it as a blower yet. The guide says to keep some water in the tank to stop the pump overheating. And there's no clear instruction how to apply powder. So the elementary instructions and cheap plastic fittings are the negatives. The engine starts easily, but the control is not smooth and feels very cheap. A lot of the issue is just that it feels cheap- the plastic is not well rounded off, has gaps in seams etc. The engine off switch doesn’t work consistently- had to cycle it back and forth several times to get the engine to cut off. Cheap…But it works for the job it is intended for. Biggest complaint is that the unit has no lifting handle. It is hard to figure out how to pick it up when the tank is full. For a pressurized tank system, it is also strange that every maker puts the tank on top of the engine. It would be easier to carry if the tank was below the engine, as it gets very top heavy with several gallons of water. ... show more

I purchased this unit as a back up to my Stihl unit. I unboxedthe blower and my first impression was it's small, and looks pretty basic. The quality was not great. Looking through the manual it suggests if it doesn't run good to turn the carb adjuster until it runs good. So after reading the manual and assembling the unit, I fuel it up and attempt to start it. After priming and choking and pulling 11 times it starts. It took a long time to run smooth, but then after hitting the trigger and letting go it died. I got it restarted and adjusted the carb as described in the manual. Its a balance of a lag when you hit the throttle vs a smooth top end. I couldn't get both. So I put in water to see what it would do. It does not blow 40 feet, 23 was the best I could get, while spraying the water I bent over and found out the lid leaks, a lot. So I took the lid off and adjusted the seal and tried again, still leaking. I took it back apart and returned the unit. Maybe I got a turd maybe its junk I don't know. I did buy the Stihl sr200 and its specs are less than this unit but it out preformed the tomahawk in distance and how fine of a spray you can get. The tomahawks mist is very course vs other units. So to recap the quality, the function and the prefomance are all pretty low compared to the Stihl unit's I have used. I use sprayers commercially and don't feel comfortable putting this unit on a truck.for.daily use. ... show more

This is an amazing fogger. Very easy to assemble and use. This saves us a lot of money from having to pay a professional company. We have less than half the cost of a contractor and that includes the insecticide. It seems to be very well built and should last a long time.
