I have a couple portable Bluetooth speakers for my projector that are a bit pricey and have some weight to them so I wanted to be able to put them in a small duffel bag to transport them. I needed to protect them from being bumped or dropped while in the bag so I bought this foam for that purpose. I cut the pieces to the sizes/shapes that I needed (using a Havalon Forge razor blade knife), glued them together (with clear E6000 glue which worked great) to make an open top box, pushed the box down into the duffle bag and now they are protected on the sides and bottom with an inch thick of foam padding. The foam is well made, compresses and expands back to full size quickly, can be cut into pretty much anything needed using a sharp blade, and there are probably a ton of things that can be made from it besides the obvious use for gun case foam. It was perfect for what I needed it for. I’m afraid to throw away the leftover scrap pieces in case I need them for another project. The foam comes vacuum sealed which I was worried would cause issues like wrinkles in the foam but once I cut it open and let it expand everything was great. I originally bought a 6-pack of foam and I liked it so much I bought another 8-pack for an upcoming project. Highly recommend. ... show more
