This a review on the Coolvie 14in. Medium Firm XL Twin Mattress. I truly did the research on this mattress by reading all the reviews. Therefore I wanted to write a review that would hopefully be helpful and informative. I had 2 TwinXL Beautyrest 14in. Medium Plush Recharge Contenders that were over a $1000 each almost 10 years ago when we bought them. My husband and I have 2 twin xl mattresses because we have adjustable bed bases that make a King. My bed had deteriorated at a faster rate than my husband's because I have disabilities in my back and heart so I'm always home. When we went shopping for mattresses during Labor Day the prices floored us. Therefore I researched and took a chance on this mattress. We only bought one for me now and got the 14in Medium Firm. If all stays like it is we'll get the Medium Plush for my Husband. We ordered it during Prime Days and got a great price $264 but the regular price for this mattress is also very incredible fairly priced with the $50.00 normal coupon for the mattress of $329.99 is $280 which already is a Great Price so it'll end up less than $600 for a King. The Mattress arrived on a Sunday three (3) Days early. I was so happy when I got the text that it was coming early. My husband and I were careful. He took it out of the box and cut the saran wrap and it's easy to unwrap. Did not unroll. My husband then tore open the the vacuum sack with tool they provide then the decompressing starts. Wow that was so cool. We left it like that for 24 hours and after one day it was already at almost 14in. I periodically checked on it for the growth but it pretty much didn't grow much more after 48 hours. After around the 60 hours we took it to our bed and that night I slept on it. I think that has been the best night's and next day's sleep I've ever had🤣 I woke up the next morning and accidentally fell asleep again and woke up 3 hours later. I will update in a few months if needed, but right now I will give this bed 5 stars out of 5 stars. It is firm but soft. Works perfectly on an adjustable base which I was worried because read a review that said it didn't but knew it did because innerspring mattresses should work with adjustable bases and as you can see in the picture it does!😁btw no smell. Sides are not as Plush as my Beautysleep but I'm not sleeping on the side of my mattress so who cares. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This mattress turned out to be more comfortable than I expected! I chose the firm option, and it feels just right—firm but not hard, and it gives me the support I need without causing back pain. At first, if you sit on the edge, you might feel a bit of sinking and worry about the support. But once you lie down, it’s a completely different experience—even, supportive, and comfortable. I’ve been using it for over a month, and so far, I’m really happy with it. Since it was shipped compressed, the edges didn’t fully straighten out, but that’s a minor issue and doesn’t affect how it feels when sleeping. Overall, I think this mattress offers great value for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive option! ... show more

It's a solid bed, and it's really GREAT for back or stomach sleepers, but just OK for side sleepers. The problem is I'm a HEAVY side sleeper. I noticed I toss and turn quite a bit. However, I did come from a plush mattress (which was too soft), but I did not toss and turn while sleeping on my side. I gave this mattress 1.5 years and it works just fine though. Very durable too. With this mattress, my arm falls asleep while laying on my side while my arm underneath my body. So now I extend my arm all the way out and I don't have that same issue, but I still toss and turn and have some back aches if I spend the whole night on my side. No back issues if I spend some of the night on my back, but I can't fall asleep like that. There was a subtle smell but if you let it breath for the day or two it suggests, it goes away. Tl;DR: Overall 3.7/5 for the 12" model, but I'll round up. Great for back and stomach sleepers, not ideal for side sleepers, especially heavy side sleepers but is manageable. If this is you, GO FOR THE 14" VERSION or find a 5-6 firmness mattress. For lighter weight side sleepers, get a plush to medium mattress, not medium firm. I should have switched it during the free nights trial. It still works and I do get good sleep on most nights. ... show more

I was super nervous to order a mattress online. I didn't want to spend a gazillion dollars on an online mattress purchase without being able to feel it first. I was out of state when I made the purchase This one is an absolute dream! I read tons of reviews and want to thank those who reviewed this one. Mine is a queen, 14 inches thick, and medium firm. Delivery and item were flawless. Zero damage, zero smell, ZERO regret. I sleep on my side with no issues (for five days so far). I'm thrilled it can be used on an adjustable bed! Great quality at a terrific price! I feel great when I wake up - like I got a good night's sleep, and no aches or pains at all - I'm almost 60... if you know, you know, lol! I would absolutely buy it again. Possibly even over my dream mattress. ... show more
