The media could not be loaded. I got this because I thought the vertical bar would add to it's stability, but just the opposite. It is two separate pieces and the seam makes the whole bar bend away from the user. 2 months and I am having it replaced.

The product seems to be a quality product, however, my package was missing the threaded rod which internally joins the vertical leg to the horizontal lower rail. I would also say that I think the screws should be longer for attaching the bars to the wall, I substituted the included screws with longer exterior deck screws which I already had on hand. I added 2"x6" wood in the appropriate locations attached to the existing 2"x4" studs in the wall. Also, my floor is tile over a concrete slab, so I used Tapcon screws to attach the vertical leg to the floor and suggest You use Tapcons or some other appropriate masonry fastener and not use the included screws if you also have a concrete slab floor. ... show more

Nicely built and finished. Very sturdy when installed with toggles I supplied. I do not trust the plastic anchors supplied with most wall mounted items. Does not meet ADA height requirements.

    • Is tight with Allen Screws that get very loose within a couple of months.

I had to dismantle this grab bar from the wall to tighten Allen screws after only 2 months. Not easy and the number of screw holes I will be making is not funny. I gave it a 2 star because the design has helped with what we need. Does anyone know how to get a solid grab bar like this?
