My only complaint is instructions could be better--the QR code on the instructions pulled up a closed site. Now, mine had no missing parts, boots, screws etc. The shower bench is sturdy--it does move--but never an unsafe feeling and I'm 260 lbs. I am using it due to Tibia surgery. I've decided after I can bear weight, I'm still using it due to neuropathy--So much safer. I recommend, along with a hand held shower head. Works great ... show more

I like the ease with assembling this. It is very sturdy and is suitable for different configurations depending upon how your bath is set up. The backrest can be either left or right centered. Product appears durable. Package was missing two screws. Contacted seller They are shipping the two screws. Worked well for my tub that has minimal available space. Included all tools required for assembly but having a 10 mm wrench and regular Phillips screwdriver for assembly will make assembly much faster. They did include a wrench and Phillips, but having better tools will make assembly easier. Assembly is straight forward, takes about 30 minutes to assemble.. i docked one star on assembly due to missing bolts. I would make the same choice again , i understand missing parts sometimes happens. Bench seems durable, in spite of its light weight. Seat sections have drain holes for water. ... show more

Recently purchased this for my mother who had a stroke and needs it for getting into and out of the bathtub so she can shower safely. Not only did I waste hours of my time trying to decipher the confusing instruction manual, but when the final product was put together it provided NO support for my mother and she almost fell. Thankfully I was there to help her when she tested it but I worry for people who are living alone. I can't stress this enough: this is not a product to buy if you are handicapped and needing it. This product NEEDS ASSEMBLY from someone able bodied with tools and the patience to piece it together. To give you an idea of how horrible the assembly was, if you tightened anything even the slightest bit then the parts on the chair would not fit. You had to get all of the screws and washers in the right place to tighten them all together, which sounds easy enough to figure out and do at first. However, because they had to be loose they continued to fall out, washers would disappear into the holes on the chair, and it was a headache I do not wish upon my worst enemy. The parts included do not match the instruction booklet as well. The back support of the chair didn't even have holes for the screws- I had to use an ice pick to make holes big enough for it to attach. And even then the screws were not long enough to provide any back support. I wish I could donate this chair to someone who needs one because I don't think I am able to get my money back, but I can't in good conscience for fear of some elderly or disabled person getting hurt when trying to use it. I am instead going to stress how awful of an experience this was for me and my mother to try and warn potential buyers away. There are better, easier to assemble transfer chairs available, and picking this cheaper option will only be a waste your time and money. ... show more
