Great product. Aside from the expected initial "metal smell" of a new product which went away after 2-3 uses, the toaster lives up to the description. Only had a month thus far but using it daily and it continues to work very well. As advertised, great for bagels too. Good appearance, easy to clean, and functional.

It's nice! I like the feature for frozen bread, the defrost button. I eat private selection sugar free wheat bread and keep it in the freezer. I put 2 slices in and pushed Defrost. It came up just slightly toasted on upper part of one side, darkness at level 3. I wasnt sure if I needed to adjust it. It was kind of crispy. I put it back in on regular toasting setting at darkness of 4. It toasted nicely. When I went to eat it with butter, the crust was crunchy, like fresh baked bread! The texture was a bit chewier, and had a bit more mouth feel to it. I have yet to try the bagel setting, but so far I really like it! It replaced our 10 year old toaster. I was afraid it wouldn't hold up. Oh, the stainless steel looks great in our kitchen too. No complaints.

Very good toaster with a few suggestions for improvement. 1.) Slots - A.) It would be great to have the slots 1/2 inch to 1 inch longer. The toaster does a great job of toasting regular bread slices, but wider loaves of bread do not fit very well. B.) Same applies to the slot depth as larger slices of bread are not toasted on the upper 1/2 inch of the slice. 2.) Toast Setting Dials- A more visible mark on the dials would be helpful as morning vision can be difficult to see the setting marker on the dial. We love the extra Lift Function for small slices of bread! We are much happier with this toaster than the Cuisinart toaster this one replaced after a short period of use!
