I was a little skeptical about the efficiency of this toaster because it was such a great price point. This toaster does not disappoint it perfectly toasts evenly on thick or thin slices of Toast, bagels, waffles, etc. I would definitely buy this toaster again!

Usually I find Amazon reviews to be spot-on. Not so sure with toasters though. I bought one previously with all 5-star reviews, and I ended up returning it because it browned unevenly and the buttons (e.g., bagel) weren't programmed right. This was all 5 stars when I bought it to replace the one I returned. Well, whomever wrote the instructions lives in la-la land. It says that the '4' setting yields nice, evenly browned toast, but '4' burned the toast in mine. I ended with 2 1/2 as the optimal setting. And, the browning is decent but clearly not the same on both sides. I'm keeping it, but in retrospect, I could have done just as well running to Walmart rather than buying based on reviews with Amazon. ... show more
