If you want to use the entire liner, the SmartShelf easily removes to provide one large compartment. I would have liked to get the gray or pine color but this blue was available for 2 day shipping and very cheap. I ordered the used - very good condition box but this thing was never used, still had all the stickers, tags and plastic on it. Very pleasantly surprised. I was worried the bright blue would look a little feminine but it's a good looking blue and not overdone. Looks awesome and will actually stick out a little better so it'll be a lot harder to misplace lol. I searched ALOT for a hardbody lunchbox that still had pockets and what not, which believe it or not is a lot harder than you'd think on Amazon. This is the best of both worlds, I have an easily cleaned, waterproof inner body that won't collapse on itself (my biggest gripe with soft coolers) but also external pockets. I also really like the removable inner tray, that'll come in handy. My other criteria was having a zipperless main body, I can't really explain my displeasure with top zippers other than I like the efficiency of just flipping it open vs pulling a zipper around 3+ corners every time. But don't think it's a loose fitting top lid, it's a nice interference fit that will still prevent liquid from sloshing out when you're carrying it. The materials feel quality, kind of like a soft touch phone case, not like the thin plastic fabric you get on cheap stuff that cracks and breaks apart in chips, especially after sitting in the sun. This lunchbox checked all my boxes, the $39 price was just a bonus. If I saw this box in the store and put hands on it, I would have paid twice that. ... show more

    • An Awesome Golf Cooler That Fits In The Basket

Ok, so first off the cooler. It’s great and I love it as my new golfing cooler that is completely accessible and fits in the golf basket with a little room to spare. I like that it’s plastic bucket insert is easy to clean and gives another wall of cooling. Yes, you can take the bucket out and have a soft bag if you really want to stuff it, but at least you have the option. I like that it’s got some extra storage in the front pocket, and in the side mesh pockets. We put our koozies in the side mesh pockets. The best part of this cooler, where it stands out from other coolers this size, is the lid and latching system. It is amazing and gotta love the easy access from the front seat of the car or golf cart reaching back. It is way more secure than I first thought as well. I think it would hold if tipped over as long as it was latched with the Velcro strap; we don’t strap it half the time though. When you push down on the lid it does snap into place, even before strapping it closed, so that gives some peace of mind that it’s shut. Other than that, this is really versatile and great for the money and size. Speaking of size, I’m a little bit of an over-thinker and I was looking for ice packs for this after I got it, and I think 1 good rectangular ice pack is all you need for a full day of fun; I take this on the course with 1 ice pack and it’s still cold in the back of my Jeep the next morning. So anyways, I put together all the inside dimensions of this as well as some can scenarios and how they fit in the cooler. I hope the info below helps somebody out, and also hope this review doesn’t run out of characters…lol. Buy and enjoy people!     • Love this Cooler so Much We've Purchased It Twice! (30 Can Size)

We are obsessed with this cooler. It is a 30-can cooler, medium sized. We live in Hawaii with our two kids, and we are always dragging a cooler to the beach, on our boat, or on our kayak. Don't waste your money on an expensive brand. Just buy this cooler, it really is the most functional option on the market. It is worth every. single. penny. We purchased one five years ago, but had to store it outside, and it got moldy in the tropical climate, so we ended up replacing with the same cooler. My favorite story about this cooler - We took our kayak out in the ocean and we flipped completely upside down when hit by some big waves. We had the cooler strapped via the side handles to our kayak so it didn't fall off the kayak. My iphone was on the top of the cooler with only the cooler's bungee cord on top of it. Miraculously, my phone was held secure by the bungee cord, and I didn't lose my phone. Also, the lid to the cooler stayed closed, so even without a zipper compartment or latch, it stays very securely closed. Pros: - Soft sided, but plastic inside. This is ideal for bringing on a boat, as it's easier to squish under the bench seat, or easier to squeeze in with our beach gear. But it holds its shape so the food doesn't get smushed, and things don't get shifted around. - No Zip Closure. It has a velcro tab, and the plastic lid fits snugly in the cooler top, so you get a tight seal, but you can open one-handed. This is so important when you are out on a boat or always have your hands full with a kid. - Lots of storage on the cooler. 2 zipper compartments in front for holding essential items. 2 side mesh pouches, and a bungee cord on top to tie things to the top of the cooler. - Plastic divider inside the cooler so that you separate food and cans. You can fit regular height cans and seltzer (taller skinnier) cans underneath the plastic divider. You cannot fit a standing water bottle, you will have to lay it on its side. - Holds 30 cans. It's a great medium sized cooler. We can fit a few drinks, and lunch for our family of 4 in this cooler. - Comes with a bottle opener attached. - Adjustable shoulder strap. Cons: - The description says ice lasts 3 days. I've never seen ice last anywhere close to this, but we are opening the cooler often when we use it. We were on a boat in the Hawaiian sun for about five hours, and the ice was almost all completely melted by the end of our time, but the water was still very cold. - On our first cooler, the plastic divider broke after about three years. We still continued to use it, and I never actually contacted the company to see if they would issue a replacement. ... show more
