Plus I have been buying the kids all wood toys since my son had a high lead result months ago and I have been conscious about what he plays with now. He loves it! Both my boys do. It is simple and comes with just enough pieces so you are not being driven crazy with picking them up. Fair warning the pot and pan are HEAVY. Really good quality but if your child has a tendency to hit people (like you) with toys then I would put it somewhere they can’t find it. The Velcro food that you cut has been my son’s favorite. Very cute kitchen set! Happy with my purchase so far. My son is 3 and my daughter is 9 months and I think we will get a lot of use out of this for both of them! Wonderful kitchen. Everything was packed carefully so all the wooden pieces were in pristine condition when I opened it. Instructions for putting together were clear and simple. It did take a little over an hour but I was taking my time. Only complaint was some of the screws don't tighten and not sure how that'll hold up against toddler play. I suggest going in with a few drops of wood glue to keep it extra sturdy. The pieces are so cute and feel like good quality. My daughter loves chopping the veggies. It came with the perfect number of pretend pieces so she can play but I'm not picking up fake veggies from every corner of the house. It's small but great for a 2 year old and doesn't take up too much space. I also love that the stove knobs click when you turn them. Overall, the kitchen playset is a great purchase. The assembly took a bit longer than expected but came together beautifully. Our two year old loves the set and we expect to use it for a long time. We purchased the set with the food items. The set also comes with a few food items and a play knife. The knife is safe for children but is already splintering when using it to cut the Velcro food, and we’ve had it out for less than a week. The food items are not the best quality. They are made of wood and the paint job is nice but I’ve already had the steak chip a whole edge off and a few other pieces are showing wear in a short amount of time. I like the curtain that provides hidden storage space for all the accessories. We added command strips to hold her other various kitchen items from other sets (apron, pot holder). Overall, decent value for the money and more attractive to look at than the plastic kitchens selling for around the same price or more. ... show more

I wanted a cute, smaller foot print and interactive kitchen. My 2.5 year old loves it. It does take a couple hours to assemble so make sure someone who’s into that stuff helps you. It’s too cute! Great gift and Montessori style toy

Great for smaller homes/spaces and very aesthetically pleasing. Which is initially what drew me to this kitchenette in the first place. Reviewing after a year with two toddler boys. Upon opening it had a strong chemical smell. It took my husband about 3-4 hours to complete and he’s very handy. The sink spout has had to be re-glued/reconfigured because it snapped in one spot and was fully loose. The door broke off in about 3 months of use and was extremely difficult to get on when building. Currently the handle of the pan is loose and crooked and cannot be straightened. I don’t think this can handle everyday/rough play. I read reviews frequently and hope this helps someone else considering this kitchen play set. I would suggest to keep looking. ... show more

We love this item for our two year old—- it is wood and not plastic. Most of the pieces fit together easily but a few needed a bit pf jiggling. One piece, the knife, was missing. I emailed seller and they promptly sent out the replacement—- glad I reached out ( I was going to let it go) because this knife is really cute—- check your boxes ... show more
