It’s absolutely adorable, durable, made from high quality materials, and fun for kids. The only “but” I have for this kitchen is that it is very time consuming to build. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow, yet it still takes a great deal of time, even for someone who is used to putting furniture together. The end result is worth it though! Well made and sturdy and years of play to come. It will stand the test of time. It’s been getting daily play with lots of play dates and it still looks new. Sounds work and aren’t obnoxious to mom and dad. Looks cute without taking up too much space in the play area. I bought this for a first bday and I would say it would have been better for a second birthday but she definitely plays with it now that she’s figured it all out. She’s 20 months now. This a very cute and very sturdy play kitchen. It is a good size for my 2 year old and also for my 6 year old. Every thing was relatively easy to put together. The doors are all magnetic close which is nice because shit quietly. My kids have so much fun playing with it. I only wish it came with some accessories for the price you’re paying. ... show more

So this kitchen is so cute, and I was so excited to get it for my daughter for Christmas. I’ve been so disappointed in it. I went to set it up Christmas Eve, and wow. I didn’t have trouble setting it up, except so many pieces were miscut. Like, completely miscut. The most annoying one is the top pieces. The back panels will not go into the designated slot, leaving a gap, and not allowing the top to close completely. The cut is too far forward. Now, it’s not the end of the world. But for the price? Ridiculous. If I’m paying over $200 for a toy kitchen, I expect it to be well made. It’s honestly not worth taking apart, to send back, to get a new one to put back together. While I didn’t have trouble setting it up, it did take a very very long time, and it was the easiest build. There is no way I’m going to take it apart to fix such a “minor” miscut. It is annoying because this is not the only miscut. I also have trouble with the side panels on the bottom, as well as the two doors on front, and the microwave door. Overall, it is very cute. For the price, I expect it to be better quality as far as production goes. I am very good at putting together furniture, but if you are not, I can’t recommend this. Very disappointed honestly. Would return if it wasn’t such a hassle. It also does not come with any accessories, everything has to be bought separately. Directions were vague, but pretty face forward once you figured out how to read them, all of the pieces came perfectly packaged, no damages and it’s absolutely perfect. The package was delivered perfectly a day earlier than expected. The parts were all packaged with extreme care. I unboxed and laid each item out in numerical order. It took me 4 hours from first cutting the box open to completely assembled and cleaned up. About a hour in, I thought “This is so easy!” Then things got a more detailed over the next few hours. I’m a fairly handy gal, and I never felt overwhelmed. There were a couple times I installed something backwards, but it wasn’t due to the directions. The directions were really clear compared to some other items I’ve assembled. I used an electric drill for all 64 “A” screws and hand-tightened most of the others. There were only two minor flaws in my product. The board with the microwave knobs has two major knicks, which I could’ve inadvertently caused (despite being very careful). The other flaw is a screw cap being misaligned/over tightened from the factory leading to a significant chip in the cabinet under the coffee maker. I worry the kids will snag themselves on it because it is right on what I anticipate will be a high traffic spot. I notice no smell or odor at all, but I did unbox and assemble outside. It’s inside now, and I smell nothing at all, but I’m generally not very sensitive to those types of things. All things considered, after completing all 36 steps of assembly, I am in love with this sweet and seemingly sturdy little kitchen! The details are so precious and fun!!! I can’t wait to give it to my twins tomorrow for their 2nd birthday! Time will tell how much lovin’ it can withstand from my very active little crew. ... show more
