Easy to use. Put a battery in and let them explore and play with the knobs and switches. There is even a rotary switch. Turn the knob, flick the switch and oh look a light comes on. While my kid loves this toy for now, I know my kid very well. My kid is very smart meaning they get bored very quickly so I bought this knowing it may not last a couple months. So far, my kid has loved figuring out the buttons and colors that go with each switch. I will note one thing, upon arrival one of the switches, the little metal one, was already turned on. It took all of my strength to turn it off, meaning my toddler would not be able to turn that switch on and off with ease. But, if your kid is like mine and gets bored very easily with toys, this is a great buy, affordable, lightweight, entertaining, and doesn’t not make any noise. My toddler sat and played with this toy on their own for a good half hour. To get more use out of it, I suggest asking about turning on or off certain colors or even asking what color they just turned on, especially if your child, like mine is struggling with speaking. ... show more

Both my kids LOVE this thing! I have a 1 year old that loves pressing the noise button and my 3 year old likes to pretend it’s her control board for a spaceship or plane or whatever. This thing has been thrown around and stepped on and yeah put through the wringer and the only damage it has sustained is the small key is now slightly bent. Everything still works and it’s the perfect size. I also love that it’s made out of wood and not some large plastic hunk of junk. I almost wish I had gotten 2 because the kids are usually fighting over it haha! I would definitely recommend! ... show more

This was a toy I bought for my one year old grandson. He liked watching the lights, but as expected the switches were a little too hard for him. I bought it so he could learn to work the buttons and still watch the lights. It is also great for “cause and effect.” However, after 3 months it would not work. I switched batteries, no luck. Cleaned out the battery compartment. No luck. Then I read the reviews about someone who hit it on their hand. I tried it out of desperation and it worked! Who knows how long it will work now. If we turn it off when finished and store it gently, maybe we will have it for a while. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my daughter for Christmas she has only had it for a month now and it’s already broken a chunk of the wood has fallen out and a part of one of the activities on it for the lights has fallen out I am a little disappointed that it only lasted a month before it started breaking and was hoping it would last longer as my daughter absolutely loves this toy it’s one of her favorites ): but now I am kind of anxious for her to play with it ... show more
