Perfect hiking and walking boots. Great fit, great look, rugged, great color. Everything about this boot is perfect. But it took Amazon (who sells and ships this boot) over 3 weeks to deliver it to my home. No reason why. Other shoes and boots I've ordered arrive in less than a week. comfortable boot, good in snow less than ankle deep, sais waterproof but feet will get wet from laces up if your walking in deeper snow. besides that its a good boot. sizes ran true. has gave me added support to my ankles since i walk alot.

These boots have held up after 2 years of heavy heavy abuse, between using them as a tow truck operator through dirt, glass, and grease. To a season of commercial lawn care work. All the seams are still intact. Aside from one strap off the back getting ripped on something and normal wear on the heel of the inside these things are mint. And still hold out the water when I step into mud and puddles. The only reason I'm getting a new pair is because they smell like fertilizer and chemicals and I wanted a new pair thay I can wear out and I'll still use the old ones for work till they give out..when ever that may be. ... show more

First of all, I need to tell you that my feet are 42.5 for European size. (I live in Europe.) There is 41, 41.5, 42, 43, 43.5 of this boot but there is no exact size of 42.5. So, I chose 9 US (43 EU) first. And it was too large for my feet. When I walk, my feet was moving in it. So I've decided to replace it with smaller one: 8.5 US (42 EU). This is a little small for my feet but it's not too bad. If I walk down the hill, I can feel my toes chafe to the front of the boots but it's not a big deal. If we come to the how boots are, well it's better than it looks on the Amazon. A pretty good-looking pair of boots. It's confortable, yes. (If we ignore the problems about size I've written above.) And until now, it keeps warm my feet. It also keeps dry my feets. (I haven't tried it in heavy rain or something but I walked in snow, puddle with it and it works better than my normal adidas shoes for this conditions.) But you wonder why I give three stars to it, right? Just for little size problem? Absolutely not. THESE BOOTS SLIP! You can't get a grip on the surface of floor with these. I mean, I'm not talking about ice, it slips even on a little moist surfaces or smooth ones (for example tiles.) This is why I don't recommend these. I bought these for winter season but I walk like penguin with these and I had risk of fall a lot of times and I actually fell a few times. (Nothing serious thank God.)
