This is has to be the worst piece of jerky I ever had! Worse than gas station jerky! The texture is very rubbery! It has a little flavor, but the texture isn’t tuff. It’s more trendy than stuff and extremely small. If this was in the store I would even buy it for $10 for 12 slabs! You need to go back to the drawing boards and check out people choice beef jerky! I've been loving this beef jerky for over 25 years and when I moved from CA to VA yrs ago, I couldn't find it anymore so I found it on Amazon and it was perfect up until this last order it was nit the same peppered jerky I always got from them it didn't have any pepper visible on it and it was soft like it was smoked long enough, I'm hoping it was a one time mistake, If not I'll have to cancel my subscription and have to find something else and I don't want to 😫 I love tillamook everything and will update in 2 months when I get my next order ... show more

Bought some of this in Tillamook, Oregon and bought more for trips. It is individually packed (each slice is in a sealed package and then put into the full package. The Old Fashioned is my favorite and easy to chew with good strong, but mild flavor.

Great packaging, it comes packed with individual sealed air tight slabs. Minimal ingredients and doesn’t contain preservatives. The seasoning is alright except for the beef broth which makes it too beefy in a a bad way. The pressure from the individual seals gives the beef an extremely smooth surface like a piece of glass. Also, I was unaware that these were “chopped and formed”. It explains the cheap price. ... show more
