This is a favorite brand of mine for a decade. Thin chewy and delicious. It's a specific type of jerky so if you are looking for big super thin old school jerky this is the one. If you are looking for something like jack links this isn't it. But you should give it a try anyway. Jerky topping PC jerky is amazing lightly fried on a paper thin coating of sesame oil in a frying pan. Oil the pan at medium low heat and cook the jerky on both sides for a minute +/- . This is the REAL DEAL. If there has ever been a time you tried REAL Jerky or homemade Deer Jerky or perfectly spiced real steak in the dehydrator and have been looking for that experience ever since,,,, THIS IS IT RIGHT HERE! And I don't know why they have it listed by price per piece because these pieces are huge, so it is misleading, at 36 bucks per 24 ounces it's 1.50 per ounce which is better than some chopped formed crap. I know prices might go up from time of this review with inflation, and I have a 10% on subscribe and save but I am in love with this stuff and all my kids are too!!! And it can be tough to attack it as one big chewy piece, so we cut it up into strips and then cut the strips shorter in half and put into separate ziploc bags to keep the kids out of the big bag :D Makes it easier to tear apart and eat as well! ... show more

It was strongly recommended by my foodie friend. She did mention that it's a bit pricey but assured me it's worth every penny. I decided to give it benefit of the doubt and it did not disappoint. Super bummed! Was really excited to try this slab jerky but almost every piece had some mold on it! I ate one before realizing but I think I might have lucked out with one of the few in the bag that wasn't moldy because I was throughly inspecting while ripping it into pieces to make it easier to eat. Besides the mold, the texture and flavor were not what I was hoping for either. This jerky is cut with the grain so the long muscle fibers make it almost impossible to rip apart and results in super tough, extra extra chewy, not super enjoyable jerky. The flavor was also a miss because I prefer a sweet Teriyaki, and this one is more a spicy/peppery Teriyaki. ... show more

I love hot spicy food. I order 5 stars at Thai restaurants. This jerky is not over the top, but is sufficient. The texture and dryness is classic chewey jerky and not the soft, moist stuff that seems to be popular now. My teeth are in good shape and they are needed. I rated this jerky 4 stars for one reason. This jerky is very sweet. 8 grams of sugar per ounce of jerky. Too sweet for me. I favor more savory flavor and find sugar sweetness objectionable in a jerky. People like sugar though, so I imagine lots of people will like this brand. I won’t be ordering any more. I’ll stick with a less sweet jerky. i found this "hot & spicy' jerky to be just.... OK.. I'll definitely finish eating it but a few things. #1 flavor is not the best and really didn't find it that "hot and spicy" #2 has somewhat of a greasy flavor /texture.. hard to explain #3 hard to eat.. i knew this was a muscle type jerky but its VERY hard to eat and chew once again, just OK and will finish eating it, but will not buy this brand again. ... show more

I think the flavor is fantastic. The texture is slightly strong in some areas of the beef that is used. For myself I will work around the gristle that is inside this cut of meat. Other than that it is extremely good. I’m definitely a fan of this brand…

    • Deliciously Flavorful and Satisfying - A Must-Try for Jerky Lovers!
Flavor Name: Teriyaki Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 1)
People's Choice Beef Jerky (Teriyaki) has quickly become my favorite go-to snack. The thinly sliced but generously sized slabs of beef are packed with a rich, savory teriyaki flavor that never disappoints. Every bite is a burst of deliciousness that keeps me coming back for more. I do want to give a heads-up that there are occasionally thin strips of sinew in the slabs. These can be a bit tough to bite through and can lead to some extra chewing. However, I've found that cutting the slabs into smaller pieces makes it easier on my teeth, and the sinew becomes less of an issue. Alternatively, you can bite and tear the beef off the sinew, or just spit the sinew out if needed. Despite this minor inconvenience, the flavor and quality of the jerky more than make up for it. One thing to note is that this isn't soft beef jerky. If you're used to eating softer jerky or other soft foods, be prepared for a bit of a workout for your teeth and jaw. The texture is firm and chewy, which I personally love, as it adds to the satisfying experience of enjoying a truly hearty snack. I've never had a bad bag of People's Choice Beef Jerky, and I appreciate the consistency and quality of their product. You get a lot which is nice since a single bag costs a lot. If you're a fan of robust, flavorful jerky that offers a satisfying chew, I highly recommend giving this a try. ... show more
