This had the potential to be a really nice portable washing machine but the manufacturers tried to skimp on parts/features and it makes the rating 3/10. The 3 points are: 1. The washer looks stylish with easy to use controls 2. It’s small enough to fit in a closet or pantry but the tub holds a decent amount of items (I washed 2 bath towels, 2 kitchen towels, 4 kitchen dish rags and the mop pad from my steam cleaner in 1 load) 3. The wash power is good. It cleans very very well. I am impressed. The cons are: 1. They didn’t include a switch to open and close the drain. So that means if the drain tube comes unhooked it’s going to soak your floors. You also have to try to lift it back up while it’s draining so you can switch buckets and that is hard and bothersome to do. 2. The drain hose is way to short considering it needs to be handled so much during a wash cycle. 3. The drain tube is soooo thin and cheap compared to my other portable washers. If that tube cracks or breaks then the washer is garbage because it can’t be replaced due to how it’s connected inside the machine. 4. The spin cycle does spin smoothly and the red plastic inserts keep it in place (other machines don’t have that). 5. It doesn’t spin out hardly any water though, still drips when hung up (My other washers are double tubs so they have a separate spinner and they come out almost dry). Even though the spinner is smooth the washer slides around like crazy. If it was on the floor it wouldn’t be so bad but since it has to be elevated for it to drain, it will fall off if not held. So I put hooks in the wall behind it and used bungy cords to secure it. 6. There’s no way to do a rinse while spinning to really push out the soapy water. I ended up doing that step in my double tub spinner. If you don’t do that step then you’ll need to do several water only wash cycles to rinse the clothes. I have no time for that. (I do a 15 min wash, then a 2 min rinsing spin cycle, then a 6 min wash with fabric softener, then a 2 min final spin) 25 minutes total time for a load of clothes. 7. The price is to high for the actual abilities of this washer. Nothing stands out about it. For $25 more you can get a twin tub that washes the same amount but also has a real spinner side and is actually smaller then this machine. So I’ll be returning mine even though it’s a PIA to do because it’s actually a bit heavier then a portable should be. ... show more

I love the machine , work really good, the only thing is that it shakes really loud and outta control when spinning, I hold it down while spinning to keep it from shaking. Any tips? Please also does anyone else smells a burning stink first time use

Great for washing clothes but the spindry is horrible! If its unbalanced even a little it throws itself off since the connection points are so small and when it does spin correctly it never spins fast enough to actually cause the centrifugal force to get alot of water out.

Pros: I do like this one, it's a lot smaller and easier to lug around than the previous one I had with 2 compartments. It's light, easy to pickup. The inside is a lot bigger than I imagined and washes a lot more clothes than I thought it would. And it does a good job washing. The cons: the spin dryer basket attachment is tiny, and while it's simple to use, it's kind of annoying to have to snap it and it's 2 red pieces into place every time to spin. Plus it only had capacity to fit about 2 shirts in it at a time to spin, so while you can wash a small basket full, you will spend a lot of time spin drying 2 or 3 items at a time. ... show more

It started out with a couple of drops but now when we drain the washer more water comes out of the bottom than through the tube. Honestly, if I had to do it again, I would get a better one.     • I wanted to love it, but it had a burning/electrical odor using the spinner and I returned it.

This machine did a great job getting the laundry clean, but using the spinner caused it to emit a very strong electrical/burning odor and I returned it and bought a Costway model. The machine is actually quite good, very portable, and even sorta cute--so long as it doesn't burn your home down. I really wanted to love this machine, but the replacement Costway I purchased has no odor and about triple the capacity for about 50 bucks more, and appears to be much better quality. Money well spent. NOTE: The spinner was NOT overloaded and I gave it quite a few chances to behave to no avail. Not worth the risk! Again, if you order one of these, it holds much more than you think it would, and cleans extremely well. I'm pretty sure mine was just defective. ... show more

If you’re looking for something that needs hand washed or that is delicate then this is perfect. If you live somewhere without a washer and want to do load of laundry this is not for you.
