I have been wanting a Papasan chair for FOREVER but also didn’t want a huge round chair taking up space in my bedroom. We stumbled across this one that had the comfort I wanted with minimal real estate take over! And the color! I can’t get a pic that gives the true depth of color but imagine a Ruby and Amethyst mixed together, that is what it looks like to me. We are remodeling our Master and with the built in book shelves I am putting on one wall, and our huge bed, I needed something that added a fun pop of color yet tied in with the theme. What we got was this! If it INCREDIBLY comfortable, sturdy, super easy to assemble (and can be cleaned by removing it!) and so divine to sit in after a long day and curl up with a book! Some genius took the Papasan and put it in an actual chair. Easy to get in and out of and the color is amazing. The Jewel colors are vibrant, pop out to add fun to a room without distracting from the main decor piece, and with one purchase I created my own cozy reading corner. With all our books I needed a place to sit and read that wasn’t in bed but allowed me to step away into a quiet space. And being able to either draw my feet up or use the foot stool makes me super excited to finally get an even better version of the chair I have always wanted. It isn’t huge and taking up space so it can fit into any corner, book, or area without worrying if it is too big. But it has the luxury of the original. Quite possibly my favorite thing I have ever purchased on here. I, the wife, can retreat here while hubs watches his ball games in the main room. The media could not be loaded. I am so pleased with this chair. I needed a place for people to sit in my home office, and I was looking at accent chairs but they were all too expensive or bulky, ugly, & weird. I don’t know how I came across this one, but I am so glad I did! It came in a big box, and was easy to unpack and assemble. It is very comfortable, and feels sturdy. I know for sure it fits at least a 250lb man. I saw some reviews that called this a glorified camp chair, and it totally is, but in a good way. I can easily move it around the room because it’s not stupid heavy. I have been using the foot rest under my desk so I can sit cross legged at my desk. Overall I am very happy with the comfort, look, and sturdiness of the chair. I would absolutely recommend this chair as an accent chair! ... show more

I absolutely think this could be a less expensive chair. It’s super easy to put together, it’s pretty, it’s comfortable, but it does feel cheaply made. I got it on sale for $130, but to be honest it should be about $50 cheaper imo. However I do like it a lot, and if you can’t afford a bougie seating situation, this is great. I like everything about this chair except I wanted to be able to rest my head back on the headrest while watching TV, and the headrest is way too low for me. I’m 5’9”. When I lay my head back I was staring up at the ceiling. I even stuffed a rolled up towel in the space under the headrest, but it didn’t help. Otherwise, the chair is easy to assemble, sturdy, plush, and the fabric is a nice, soft microfiber. Sadly I returned it and will look for something more suitable for me. ... show more
