Loved these pencils for their smoothness and dark saturated lead, so ordered more recently. However, these pencils are nothing like the previous batch - not smooth and lead is hard and very light colored on paper. Can’t help but think these are knockoffs as the old (good) version (bottom picture) had registered trademark stamped on them and the new ones (top) don’t. We absolutely love these pencils! They write so much better than the typical yellow ones. The 2 HB Soft lead on these is perfect for creating dark lines without having to press hard. This is important to us since dysgraphia runs in our family. They make writing so much easier and more enjoyable.
