These really ARE one of the best kinds of pencils out there and they work well for our homeschool for the most part. They erase wonderfully and sharpen pretty easily for the most part. BUT there are flaws. The eraser tends to get worn down pretty fast, especially if you have a kiddo that erases more often. Sometimes the eraser even breaks off before you wear it down depending on how hard the student is erasing. Over all though the pencils are very worth it and I do prefer them over other brands and mechanical pencils. ... show more

Loved these pencils for their smoothness and dark saturated lead, so ordered more recently. However, these pencils are nothing like the previous batch - not smooth and lead is hard and very light colored on paper. Can’t help but think these are knockoffs as the old (good) version (bottom picture) had registered trademark stamped on them and the new ones (top) don’t. Won’t buy these again - cheap and nothing special about them. ... show more
