Well I can't believe for this price I can get a mercedes scanner that does the whole car for this price. I've been working on mercedes car for 35 years plus and im used to the star diagnostic computer which I heard cost several thousand dollars. Now on this you have to go thru a couple of extra steps but it does everything. I just bought it to have something that was portable and cheap and this was perfect! Bought this to retract the electronic parking brake on my 2018 Equinox so that I could do the brakes. Does not work for that even though it says it does. Software was a pain to update since the instructions tell you to go to a specific website, and that website does not exist. Had to use Google to try and find the website to update. Emailing “support” was a joke. Promptly returned this to get money back. ... show more

Device is functional as a somewhat more advanced ODBII tool compared to the typical ODBII sensors. The user interface is fairly janky and slow, but it works. The 'software' to update the device via PC is some of the worst I've seen and doesn't even work for me. The device is detected by the software when plugged in via USB, but the software tells me to plug in the microsd card. After plugging in the microsd card into my PC directly, the software doesn't even detect the microsd. Very useful. The software downloads on their website are very confusing, and some downloads are locked behind a Google Drive link for which you have to request access. For a $100, this should be way better than its current state. ... show more

    • Works awesome on Vw’s as well as other cars.
I work in a shop. And personally work primarily on euro cars. This scan tool has worked great for me on VW’s as well as other makes. I’ve so far used the EPB , oil life reset and live data functions.

Got a code for BAS system of P1025-000. Has NOTHING to do with BAS system! Ran the update and didn't realize there was a FORD module that overwrite the Mercedes software. Couldn't get the Benz software back after uninstalling it. Kept getting errors on the update card and took me at least an hour for the chip to get read. Calling Support, they screened my call, and connected me to someone, but I was on hold for half an hour, then they hung up saying no one was there, leave a message. So I did: I told them I was getting my money back since they can't take of their customers. ... show more

Great scanner! The download and programming of the scanner is fairly easy. Once programmed for your Mercedes its awesome for the price, It gives codes that are actually Mercedes specific with a help button that breaks down troubleshooting to fixing the problem and not just throwing parts at it. i highly recommend! ... show more
