  • Works great!
Style: Transparent Color: Blue
Added this whole bottle to my system which is a close match to previous type they had that is no longer made. A pure solution vs added water is always the way to go should you have a leak since it won't cause issues with electrical components if they are still on.

  • 1 year and still good.
Style: Transparent Color: Blue
Nice product, have used this for over a year. never had any issues with it. Please consider Flushing your system with DISTILLED water prior to putting this into a water cooled cpu system. This removes any contaminates in your system that will haunt you later reducing the effectiveness and life of the product. I did this on a new virgin system and have a year and a half, 1 1/2 years. on it so far. just now getting a little cloudy, considering it has a 1 year life span thats great. ... show more

  • Initial review with updates -Note- Failure at 3 months
Style: Pastel Color: White
UPDATE #1: So I am about 3-4 weeks in with this coolant and so far so good. The opacity is still holding up well. I have seen a thin white film like substance inside the reservoir where the level has lowed over time. I was able to easily wipe it off with a Q-Tip. This was noticed about 1 week ago and has not reformed since. If it continues to go well I will drain the system at 2 months to inspect my CPU and GPU blocks. Below is my original review. UPDATE #2: Now at almost 2 months and still has very little fallout which I must say is impressive for any opaque coolant. I did not have high hopes after using Thermaltake Pastel formulas in the past but I really like this new stuff. If I could get 4-5 months between changes I would definitely try a different color. Obvious down side is the price. I think it should be about $10 cheaper. UPDATE #3: Failure 3 months in. All PETG tubing is showing significant clouding/build-up. Thermaltake claims this is a powder free coolant but that's exactly what the fallout looks like. This aint my first rodeo with opaque coolant and I know what to look for. Temps after stress testing all seem slightly elevated but nothing too alarming. Definitely not something I will let go and get worse though. So 3 months is pretty good for solid color coolants but still nothing out there that I can comfortable call sustainable. I am going to do this review in 3 parts which I will edit over the next several weeks. Part 1 is going to be my initial impressions. So thermaltake advertisers this as a newer version of the C1000 coolant that they previously made and I did actually try. The C1000 had some major issues. It only lasted about 1 month in my system before starting to separate and leaving a chalky residue throughout my entire Loop. This P1000 is supposedly an entirely new formula that does not use a powder base to get its color. It is also advertised to have a low surface tension formula to it that moves much more freely through the loop and eliminates air pockets. I can attest to both of those points that yes, while filling the loop it moved very quickly compared to other coolants and had very little issue with air pockets and bubbles. And I did take a sample of the coolant aside and filtered it to see if there was any powder or colored particles of which I found nothing. I can't say that it won't leave some sort of residue or clogging in the future, but it is definitely powderless which hopefully will mean that it should last longer and not have fallout like most opaque colored coolants. It is a pale white color but definitely opaque. So far it's cooling abilities match up to almost everything else I've tried so no complaints there. In a couple weeks I will update this review with any new information as far as the coolant breaking down or any negative findings. I give it 4 stars as a placeholder rating and also due to the fact that I don't believe the bottle is quite 1000ml full. Compared to other bottles I've had this seems a little bit less like 900ml or so. I said I would never buy thermaltake coolant ever again after my experience with their previous C1000 formula but after watching some reviews and videos on this new stuff I decided to give it a shot because I really wanted a longer-lasting white coolant. We shall see. ... show more

  • Great color with a very reasonable use life
Style: Pastel Color: Blue
I was a little bit nervous about this purchase initially considering some of the reviews that I had read for pastel loop coolants, but this stuff is great. I'm still seeing very good temperatures; and there has been very little (if any) particle build up / color separation, after three months of use. Barring any terrible build up that I might find during the next performed maintenance, I highly recommend this coolant and will be considering more items from this line of products in the future. ... show more
