  • Satisfied but initial setup was a little frustrating
Size: 5800X | 3080 | 16G
Overall, very satisfied with this product. Please follow the setup instructions and check all the cables, before turning it on. I have seen where there was power issues and other graphic issues on several other reviews which is unfortunate especially given the cost of the system. I experienced similar boot-up issues and contacted support which they did call me back within 20 minutes of calling. The support person was very nice and knowledgable and hung in there as I was asking a lot of questions. We walked through re-seating the GPU and eventually was recommended to send the system back and get another. While I do give up that easily, I ended up re-seating the memory modules as well and upon further evaluation, the memory was not in the slots completely. Once I checked everything else it appears that the memory modules not being seated was the issue. System booted up and was gaming within the hour. Overall the system is a beast, very impressed with the benchmarks so far and the performance of the 3080 is quite impressive. Please also note that it does not come with peripherals so make sure you have a wired keyboard on hand to finish the setup, wireless simply will not work. ... show more

  • Numerous errors with hardware, 2 RMA's and replaced entire unit. Shop elsewhere.
Size: 5800X | 3080 | 16G
Everything about the product listed was in this unit. The pc is very powerful, and in theory should have no problems running any game or program. All I have had with this is problems. After 1 month the computer started crashing: both blue screen errors and crashes that would automatically restart the pc. I eventually had an error that would allow the pc to start but not connect to a monitor for any visual.I contacted Thermaltake and sent it in for an RMA. They replaced my motherboard and both ram sticks and claimed it passed their stress tests. Now 27 days after I requested the RMA I had the pc back in my possession, and within 24 hours I was still experiencing crashes with the pc during routine use. Since this time it has been 3 weeks and I have had numerous blue screen errors, and can't consistently play for more than 15 - 60 minutes at a time without the computer crashing. I bought this computer to stream and to use as my main gaming/work computer. It is entirely unreliable and do not recommend it. I am now awaiting to send it in for an RMA where they say they will replace all affected parts. I just want to be able to play games, and at nearly $3,000 you would think it would be possible. The customer service representatives have been helpful, but I am still annoyed that I waited nearly a month for my first RMA and it wasn't even remotely fixed beyond the one major error that was causing no visuals. TLDR: PC is powerful, but my experience has been riddled with hardware errors that were not caused by anything I've done during routine use. Shop elsewhere for a good gaming pc. 4 month update: Still awaiting my pc after a 2nd RMA. They're sending me an entirely new pc. The process on Thermaltake's end took 2x the amount estimated of business day, the shipping with UPS has been delayed. Again save yourself the effort and buy elsewhere. ... show more

Packaging could’ve been better, if the delivery drivers weren’t careful it could have probably damaged something. The package itself is a box inside of a box inside of a bigger box with plenty of empty space to rattle. There isn’t really any instructions, but what you do is open the computer and take out all of the stuffing they stuffed in it, the foam is a little stuck so don’t yank it out or it will ruin your pc. It turned on and started right up for me, worked pretty well for the first day I opened it. The computer will get real hot if you keep the glass panels on, considering there’s not much breathing room for it to breathe. Which leads me to my problems, the computer fans stopped working and my CPU over heated. I ran through hundreds of troubleshooting steps in the BIOS and managed to get the liquid going but as far as the fans went, when I unplugged the bottom one from the the port connector the other two ran. so I’m without a working bottom fan, and I ended up leaving the panels off so it can breathe. the graphics card also gets pretty hot, like if you touch it then it could burn your fingers. I think the pc runs games pretty well for its price point with a few stutters here and there and there’s only two slots for ram, the m.2 is behind a heat sink and only has 1TB of storage which boils down to around 800-900 after windows files and updates. Overall a 3/5 considering I paid $2,000 for something that didn’t really arrive in great condition, nonetheless I got it working fairly okay but it’s all apart in my room and looks kind of funky. If my cat gets into the room, the computer is dead. lol ... show more

Size: 5800X | 3080 | 16G
this unit came within the shipping timeframe given. properly packaged. system powered right up. I was up and running within 10 minutes. all of the ports were fully functional and labeled properly. The first order of business was to upgrade to Windows 11 - the upgrade was flawless and the performance is great. the RTX 3080 GPU is a champ - with ordinary use the fans spin up occasionally and are a little loud. the RGB works well and really gives the system a "mean" look. I'm driving a Samsung G9 Ultra-wide display @ 240Hz - it's like butter! the unit only comes with one SSD drive so I recommend adding a second drive (very easy to install - though you do have to route through some of the existing cable management to keep the factory look) all in all - I have zero complaints and at the $2799.00 price point, I think it's well worth the value. ... show more
