  • Best bang for $ at 2100
Size: 5800X | 3080 | 16G
TLDR = at the price of 2100 you really can’t do any better even building your own unless you manage to find a most of your parts on sale. The only negative thing I have to say is the cooling would be better if the top and bottom fan were a actually flush with the case. Dust filters. They sound like good idea but not so much in practice. Just simply placing one over a fan cuts down the airflow drastically. As soon as they start todo their job and collect dust the airflow just gets worse. Add to that they don’t stop the small dust, so you still have to air dust the inside. They really do more harm than good. In this particular case I found removing the vertical dust filter right next to the gpu fans and the dust cover on the rear exhaust fan (dust cover on exhaust?!?) did wonders for temps. My unit had a build date of may 2022 and came with a asus strix mobo and MSI gpu. Although I would have preferred all Asus or MSI, a mix of the two is good enough. Gpu had no rgb. As far as performance it was as expected. I was hesitant to purchase do to negative reviews of non functional units. But then figured “it’s massed produced electronics, it would be weird if there weren’t any problems”. Customer support looked descent so I purchased and no regrets. Even with temps a little above what you’d get in a mid or bigger tower they’re certainly reasonable for a case of it’s size with as many dust filter as it has (remember remove the filters as necessary to direct air flow) ... show more

  • Numerous errors with hardware, 2 RMA's and replaced entire unit. Shop elsewhere.
Size: 5800X | 3080 | 16G
Everything about the product listed was in this unit. The pc is very powerful, and in theory should have no problems running any game or program. All I have had with this is problems. After 1 month the computer started crashing: both blue screen errors and crashes that would automatically restart the pc. I eventually had an error that would allow the pc to start but not connect to a monitor for any visual.I contacted Thermaltake and sent it in for an RMA. They replaced my motherboard and both ram sticks and claimed it passed their stress tests. Now 27 days after I requested the RMA I had the pc back in my possession, and within 24 hours I was still experiencing crashes with the pc during routine use. Since this time it has been 3 weeks and I have had numerous blue screen errors, and can't consistently play for more than 15 - 60 minutes at a time without the computer crashing. I bought this computer to stream and to use as my main gaming/work computer. It is entirely unreliable and do not recommend it. I am now awaiting to send it in for an RMA where they say they will replace all affected parts. I just want to be able to play games, and at nearly $3,000 you would think it would be possible. The customer service representatives have been helpful, but I am still annoyed that I waited nearly a month for my first RMA and it wasn't even remotely fixed beyond the one major error that was causing no visuals. TLDR: PC is powerful, but my experience has been riddled with hardware errors that were not caused by anything I've done during routine use. Shop elsewhere for a good gaming pc. 4 month update: Still awaiting my pc after a 2nd RMA. They're sending me an entirely new pc. The process on Thermaltake's end took 2x the amount estimated of business day, the shipping with UPS has been delayed. Again save yourself the effort and buy elsewhere. ... show more

  • It's been a while but I'm pleased with the PC. Third (or maybe forth) time was the Charm though....
Size: 5800X | 3080 | 16G
i love the Machine I got now, but it took me several attempts to get it "right." It's as-pictured and it's been one of the best gaming PC's I've owned. It's hard to give a product a positive review when a negative experience is attached, but I felt like I needed to get this info out there. Thermaltake was no help whatsoever and I will never, I mean Ever buy a prebuilt PC from them again (I'll buy their case and build my own lol)―at the time I needed the 3080 for work just as much as I needed it for play. This was the only reasonably-priced way to acquire one. The 3 stars I'm awarding is for two reasons: Amazon's service and the near-perfect unit I have now. As a professional reviewer I would normally roast a situation like this; no manufacturer deserves 3 or more tries to please their consumer when it should be their priority to get it right the first time (or at the very most by the 2nd) The first one shipped and subsequently LOST by UPS (their words), the replacement arrived with a bent motherboard and was crashing (BSOD's). That one was replaced with one that had two issues: a defective GPU and the other issue was they ran some of the motherboard's connections (wiring) on the outside of the case (the front I/O and all of the led/cooler/fan power connections); if you weren't careful brushing up against it would likely unhook something important. Then, the "lost" unit was magically found and it ended up getting delivered. That's the one I kept; My wife thinks one other may have gotten sent and it might of had a defect too (this has been some time ago)―either way, the one I got rocks. Edit: According to my history it was four times heh. I'm just so happy things worked out even though I was probably upset back then. Please realize This required dozens of hours (on my part), but In the end they (Amazon) made it right and most companies wouldn't do that. My new stance and its worked well for me: if I get something that's defective I send it straight back (no asking for replacement). Something gets lost in shipping? Inform Amazon, get refund, refuse package if they "Find" it again (thankfully Amazon does most of their own delivery now so I have yet to experience them losing one). As always, Thanks for reading! ... show more
