I recently purchased the Thermaltake LCGS View C i4790 Gaming Desktop, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and aesthetics. The computer is equipped with top-of-the-line components, including an Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU, 64GB DDR5 5600MT/s RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, and lightning-fast storage with 2x 2TB NVMe M.2 SSDs. I have seen another review mentioning challenges with the internal routing of peripheral cables, and while I did encounter this, I found that the panels were designed to be easily removed without tools. With a bit of patience and careful cable routing, I was able to set everything up properly. I did have to remove one thumbscrew on a fan to ensure all cables were seated correctly, but this was a minor inconvenience. Once set up, the computer's performance was nothing short of outstanding. It handled demanding games like Helldivers 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and a heavily modded Witcher 3 with ease. The computer also excelled in productivity tasks for my work, such as reviewing and building financial models and light program scripting. The aesthetics of the Thermaltake LCGS View C i4790 are stunning, with impressive lighting that really makes it stand out. The high-quality components from trusted brands like ASUS and Thermaltake give me confidence in the computer's build quality and longevity. While the case is quite large, this is necessary to accommodate the substantial cooling, aesthetics, and airflow. The size may be a consideration for some, but for me, the performance and appearance more than justify the desktop's dimensions. Overall, I would rate the Thermaltake LCGS View C i4790 Gaming Desktop a 4.7 out of 5. The media could not be loaded. I think this computer is an incredible value. It’s an all white PC with adjustable, RGB lighting. It is very nice looking and runs well. It can run sims 4 in ultra, Genshin on high, Fortnite on high. It’s very good for under $1000. Extremely happy with this purchase.

The ports you expect to have at the back of this PC are INSIDE of it, besides the power port and there is no manual that explains how this works. ThermalTake took days to respond to me and after a bunch of back and forth, I learned you have to take off multiple panels to plug almost anything into the computer (monitor, USB, ethernet, speakers). You then have to route the wires through the computer, meaning you need longer cables, then have to put to panels back onto the computer. To make matters worse, they put a fan right on top of the graphics card ports. My hands were too big to fit into there and plug a monitor in. Further, I regularly plug things in and out of the back ports on my computers. The computer also had a high pitch whine at rest that drove me crazy. I wasn't able to actually use the computer as I couldn't plug a monitor in, so maybe it would go away after Windows is setup. One of the panels on the case didn't sit flush with the rest of the paneling. The PC is also very hard to transport as it's massive and there are no handles anywhere. This computer would work for you if you have very small hands (or know someone who does), have a ton of space as it's massive, are hard of hearing/don't do recording, and don't need to plug things into the computer once it's setup. I ended up returning it as I could not use it and Thermal Take stopped responding to me after I said I couldn't plug into the graphics card. ... show more

This pc is great for mid end gaming it boots up very fast I mainly use it for streaming farming simulator 25 and american trucking simulator and I use high graphics on both and it runs anywhere from 85 to 110 fps it's a great pc for a lot of gamers and its very quiet I recommend this for anyone

    • Puchased to replace my old DDR3 Intel i7 computer, could be better

Been using computers since 1984 (286) (8088) old school, usually build my own.. so this time I would purchase a built one. for the price, this was the best price point for what it has, graphics card is fine does not run any better then my 3060 card, when working with PDF's and Adobe products you will get hangs and program closes, its gets overwhelmed. I checked the DDR4 16 GB only uses 8 GB, to me the down fall of this computer is the ASROCK motherboard, its the downfall of what could be a real good computer. (that is a easy fix) but for simplicity the ASROCK will be fine for many, I game as well, its FPS decent, 112 to 134 usually in games max setting my old DDR3 would get 178 plus using a 3060. This is based on 2.5 GB internet connection TP-Link Tri-Band BE19000 WiFi 7 Router (Archer BE800). from Amazon.. Is very quit which is better then my old jet engine one. It came packed very well, I use one of there power supplies 850W in my old machine of 10 years plus years, still works fine. My only issue is the ASROCK mother board. 1TB NVme is basic for light computing. I ordered a Samsung 990 pro which I will clone the 1TB to. ( that's personal preference) With all that, I would recommend the computer and company If this is your first computer or plug and play you need, it will be fun.. for me its going to be fun tinkering. making it lighting fast.
