I bought the white dual tower peerless assassin because it matched my build and I upgraded from the single tower version that had the tips on the end. This newer style looks so clean but looks aren't all, it's super functional. I have an i5 12600kf and on cinebench multiple core tests I went from a respectful 68 degrees on the old single tower, to an amazing 54 degrees with this double tower. Looks good, cools good, argb is a bonus but the pwm splitter is black....thermalright just use normal daisy chained fans for Pete sake. Also, the mounting can be tricky but read the item list then do your required install. No issues with installing or with fan hitting ram, plenty of room in my MSI-Z790 mobo. 10/10 and a fantastic price! All day winner. I actually prefer this over an aio. ... show more

  • Looks great
Used this for my daughter's new birthday computer that I built myself. Mounted on an MSI z790 board with an INTEL i7 12700 CPU. We do not overclock so I cannot comment on how much the temperatures can fluctuate. Easy to install and easy to connect. The RGB looks great and works perfect with the rest of the RGB in new case. Temperatures are steady and seems to be very quiet. Will post pictures soon ... show more

As a PC enthusiast who demands both performance and aesthetics from my components, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Black CPU Air Cooler has truly impressed me. Here’s why this cooler stands out as an exceptional choice for anyone looking to upgrade their cooling solution: 1. Outstanding Cooling Performance: The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 features six heat pipes that effectively dissipate heat from the CPU. Paired with the TL-C12B PWM fan, this cooler provides exceptional airflow and thermal management. Even under heavy loads and overclocking scenarios, my CPU temperatures remain impressively low. This cooler keeps my system stable and performing optimally, even during intense gaming sessions or demanding productivity tasks. 2. Quiet Operation: One of the key highlights of the TL-C12B PWM fan is its silent operation. Despite its powerful cooling capabilities, the fan runs quietly, even at higher RPMs. This is a significant advantage for those who prefer a quieter computing environment without sacrificing cooling efficiency. The PWM functionality also allows for precise control over fan speeds, further optimizing performance and noise levels. 3. Sleek and Stylish Design: The all-black design of the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 adds a sleek and modern look to my build. The aluminum heatsink not only contributes to efficient heat dissipation but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of my PC. It blends seamlessly with other components, giving my system a clean and professional appearance. 4. Easy Installation: Installing the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 was straightforward and hassle-free. The included mounting hardware is robust and compatible with a wide range of CPU sockets, including Intel and AMD platforms. The heat pipes and heatsink are constructed from high-quality materials that feel durable and reliable. The fan blades are sturdy, and the overall construction gives me confidence that this cooler will provide long-lasting performance without any issues. 6. Versatility and Compatibility: The Peerless Assassin 120 is compatible with a wide range of CPU sockets, making it a versatile choice for various builds. Whether you’re upgrading an existing system or building a new one, this cooler is likely to fit your needs. Its compact size also ensures that it doesn’t interfere with other components, such as RAM or GPU, which is a common concern with larger air coolers. 7. Value for Money: Considering its excellent performance, quiet operation, stylish design, and high build quality, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 offers great value for money. It delivers premium features and performance typically found in more expensive coolers, making it an outstanding choice for budget-conscious builders who don’t want to compromise on quality. Conclusion: The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Black CPU Air Cooler is an outstanding cooling solution that combines exceptional performance, quiet operation, and sleek aesthetics. • Monster cooler
Style: PA120 Black
I upgraded from a little 120mm AIO for my 5900x. CPU temps on full load have gone down about 12-15 degrees for me. cleared my ram just fine and the installation was a breeze. I've had trouble with other coolers in the past because the fan clips were terrible, but these seem to go on so smoothly. And let's talk about the price, the price cannot be beat, the quality of the product and hardware is fantastic. Competes great with coolers around $100-$120 easily. Will be recommending this product for people on a budget ... show more

  • Dropped the Temps on my Ryzen 9 5900X by 30-40 degrees C.
Style: PA120
Wow! What a huge temperature drop from the old stock AMD cooler to Assassin 120. This Ryzen 9 CPU is a hot CPU anyway and this is just icing on the cake. The old idol temps using the standard AND cooler were as high as 60 degrees C. Now the processor temps are a constant 30 degrees C. That is a vary big number drop in difference. Makes me want to ask, why get a water cooled CPU cooler? Pros: Very easy install (after watching YouTube). Cools like a water cool system. Very quite. Helps in keeping whole computer system cooler. No joke! Cons: Ugly. Sorry not a nice looking cooler but that is not why I am rating it so high. But something to consider if your into that. Terrible, follow the pictures, type instructions. I Hate these kind of instructions. Had to watch a YouTube video to understand the way those wired things mount the fans to the cooling vents. Thermalright must think we are all clairvoyant. Over all I am giving this cooler all five stars because it dropped my CPU idol temps by as much a 40 degrees C and it's very quite running. For those two huge reasons alone it deserves all five stars. If looks are important to you then you may need to look at those stupid, really over the top, expensive ones. The prices really start to go up if looks are important. But if your like me and you you own a hotter model processor and it can keep my Ryzen 9 processor cool, then it should be able to handle anything you throw at it. ... show more
