Overall 5 star with some very minor issues. I've been working night shift for the past 10 months and only recently have I looked into getting some kind of sleep mask. I have a big head and this thing expands to fit me. It's comfortable. Slightly cooling. The main thing is it keeps out a lot of light. Not total black out but def over 90%. I got a long bridge on my nose and it start high so I wish this had a deeper cut for the nose, but it's basically the only gripe I have with it. It does let some light in at my cheeks because of the nose cutout but it's only noticeable when my eyes are open. I keep it on all night/day/whenever I wake up. It's lightweight and comfortable. This is good if your looking for a light cooling to the area surrounding your eyes. I wasn't. I have puffy eyes, do to a medical condition, and was looking for something cooler. It is very comfy and does not come off easily. It also blocks out all the light so that's nice. It's not heavy on the eyes either. ... show more

This eyemask might be good for a brief nap, but definitely not an all nighter. Also as other reviewers said, not good for side sleepers as the gel is too firm. My biggest issue is that I have horrible night sweats and this mask does not have any breathability. It was like a small pond when I woke up in the middle of the night, my face was drenched and sweat ran down my face when I pulled the mask off. It is fairly comfortable, zero light leakage and the gel was nicely cool after being in the fridge. Would definitely be good for resting during a migraine attack. ... show more

This has been a lifesaver, my husband has the tv on late and I've tried so many of these but this one has a lip on it to block anything around you and it's soft. So I put it in the freezer and I fall asleep bc the cooling effect is very relaxing. The strap around your head is soft too.

Product was tested after putting it in the freezer for 90 mins. It is stiff, heavy, did not provide significant cooling, and would be unusable for a night's sleep in side-lying. Pity, because this was on the hottest night of the year. The Ritzlude Sleep Mask with 3D Ventilation Holes for Sleeping is far more useful at half the price. ... show more
