I never go higher than green setting because it’s easy to fall asleep, in fact, in the instructions it suggests strongly never go higher than green if you might fall asleep. This is this second time I purchased this item. I couldn't find nothing in comparison. Very comfortable. Cord is long enough. I think they can do better with the engineering of the cord. Make sure you don't sleep on it. That's how the first one I bought got overheated. I ordered other masks, but the don't get hot enough or stay on long enough. This mask is not cute, but who cares when it works really well!! I suffer from Trigeminal neuralgia which causes extreme migraines. So this is my dear friend. UPDATE: This product was great, while it lasted. I had it 9 months and it stopped working. It’s the plug. I will look for another one that works longer. But the conception of this product is great. WOW! I could feel the heat before I even had it on my forehead and eyes. For me, the is amazing. I have MG DISEASE and with it comes eye headaches, which involves both eyes and my forehead. I am awed at how amazing this feels. My husband tells me it takes less than 2 minutes and I'm asleep, which is why I now set the alarm on my phone. The first time I used it, I slept for over two hours, but I woke up without a headache. Thank you for this awesome product.     • Quit Working - Poor Design Where Cord Connect to Mask

Changed my Review from 5 Stars to 1 Star: It quit working. I believe the design of the port in the mask where the cord connects is the problem. Too bad. I loved it so much when I first tried it that I bought another one. But it wasn't long until one quit working, and I'm sure the other one will soon. Original Review: It heats up really fast, really penetrates to relieve my pain and muscle tension, easy to use! As a frequent migraine sufferer, I have tried just about every heating type product on the market. This one is my FAV. I've only had it a few days, but I'm hooked. I ordered the one for my neck, too. The heating button is easy to find with my hand even with my eyes covered, and change the heat level, and turn off and on, and it heats instantly! I love that it velcros to itself wherever you want, so I can wrap it tightly or not, it can fit my husband's larger face and head or my small head. Also I wrap it not only over my eyes, over my forehead, around the back of my neck, and even on the back and top of my head for my scalp tension when I have a headache. I wish they made one that was a whole head helmet, like some ice pack helmets that are made for migraine sufferers. (Ice doesn't help me - heat does.) ... show more

    • Adjustable Fit and ADJUSTABLE Heat!

I opened mine and took all the components out. Read directions. I plugged it into my keyboard and the lighted indicator immediately acknowledged it was hooked up (flashed red and went back off). I then hit the button twice and it came up red and then pink (the setting I wanted). I put it on and adjusted it to be snug but not tight! It stays in place for me and the heat is distributed across my eyes, a little up the forehead and onto my cheeks. The heat does NOT go into the lowest part of the mask on mine but is squared off and flat across the bottom. Very nice material and notHOT on my setting. As with any heating pad/device, if you put it at the highest setting you're probably going to end up burned (especially if you fall asleep) and unhappy and especially if you put it on so tight that you have to undo it to get it off. I only thightened this so far as it was snug and I could slide it up and down to see or take off and put back on. ... show more

I’m supposed to use heat on my eyes several times a day because of a medical condition, this works for that but has turned out to be one of those wonderful purchases that serve several purposes. The first one I had turned on by itself on high heat the same night I received it, causing it to burn itself out and only one side worked after that. Returned it and got a replacement. This one has done the same thing. Again it has turned on by itself on high heat. Thankfully I caught it right away.
