  • Fantastic push shovels
This is the second one that we bought. We bought a 4-footer and then a two-footer. These are great snow pushers! Don't try to lift the snow! It's not what they're designed for.

  • Great shovel
Best shovel owned- light and strong. Same parts as wider shovel models. I bought different widths. Looking back I would only buy the 36" and 48" wide. Scrapes as well as steel or aluminum.

  • A little more involved with assembly
Still waiting for a suitable snow, but I can speak to assembly: first, it must be assembled. There are only three parts and it's pretty straight forward how they go together. However...the back of my blade did not fit flush against the bracket (which connects the blade to the handle). The blade is 1/4" thick and didn't want to flatten to close the gap. However, instructions say not to over-tighten the bolts. What to do... I decided it was a good idea for the blade to be in contact along the full length of the bracket, so I added washers to the bolts (previously it was just bolt head/nut on plastic) and tightened until the gap closed. Next, you have to screw the handle into the bracket. There are no holes, but it comes with "self-drilling" screws. Nope, they don't Self-drill. You have to play with it some to get the D handle parallel to the blade (following the instruction to lay the shovel on the floor didn't come out quite parallel), then drill and all looks fine. BTW, I'm not sure why they used hex-head bolts on the face of the blade, rather than smooth heads. Don't know if it will make any difference, but it doesn't look as polished. As to function - it works great as long as the snow's not too wet and there's no ice. If the snow's too wet and you're not pushing right in the center, the blade will flex (and mine is just 18"). It won't scrape ice off the ground - for that you need a steel plough. Conclusion: It's lighter than a steel plough and won't rust, and is good for light jobs ... show more

  • Awesome snowplow!
My wife gave me that "I'm weird look" when I ordered these back in September. A month later we received 3-4 inches of snow! Anyhow, we bought a place in town closer to the kids schools and the city requires home owners to clear the sidewalks after snowstorms. I'm old and out of shape and wasn't sure about manually shoveling the snow. So I did some looking around and found this snowplow, it was this or some fancy machine. I opted for the snowplow as to have some physical exercise. We saw 3-4 inches of snow a few days ago and I put my snowplow to use. I bought both the 18" and 24", but I only assembled the 18er. This thing pushed through snow like a hot knife through butter! I pushed a row out into the streets and then widen the path turning the plow to a slight angel. The 18er wasn't quite wide enough for the sidewalk but it only took me 2-3 passes before it was good to go. I never had to bend over or really exert myself. Now I originally bought the 18er for the front porch steps and it was a perfect fit! I had to use it as a shovel scooping out the snow but it made things easy being narrow and lightweight. ... show more

  • The best snow pusher money can buy
The best snow pusher money can buy. Very sturdy. The edge wears evenly and when you flip the shovel upside down it works very well as a scraper, pealing up compacted snow that cars leave behind. Works just as well in wet snow as it does in dry. I've had my SnowPlow for 4 years, it's getting close to needing a replacement blade but there's no hurry bc it still works great. ... show more

  • Great for pushing snow not for scooping snow
This is my second winter and it still in good shape. Very sturdy and light to hold. It is great in pushing snow off of walks and patio but it does not work well scooping up and throwing snow.
