The Husqvarna ST224 Snow Blower is designed for homeowners who need a high- performing snow blower to clear snow from large driveways and paths. This 24-inch cordless snow thrower has a 5.9-HP, 212-cc engine that delivers enough power for efficient snow removal, and a push-button electric start for easy cold starts. An efficient two-stage system delivers plenty of throwing capacity, and a friction-disc transmission ensures smooth operation with six forward speeds and one reverse speed. These snowblowers have a ribbon auger that mixes air into the snow, which makes the snow easier to handle and ensures efficient clearing. Semi-pneumatic tires offer smooth operation, while non-clogging treads prevent snow from sticking to the tires. This Husqvarna snow blower has adjustable plastic skid shoes that allow you to adjust the space between the auger housing and the ground to protect surfaces. Easily accessible controls on the gas snow blower include a rotator to rotate the chute and a lever for changing the vertical throwing direction. The interlock handle can be adjusted to four different heights for ergonomic, single-handed control of the snowblower.     • Works great, but be careful assembling

Make sure you're careful when installing the deflector. The guide has you install it facing forward; so make sure you have the deflector direction lever set to the center when you do. There was no indication in the instructions to do that, and if you don't, it won't be able to turn the full 180 degrees from left to right (since there's a mismatch between the lever setting and the deflector itself). The deflector is very difficult to remove one installed; the plastic that snaps onto the deflector has two tabs that hold it in place. I had to break one to get it off, but so far it seems to still work ok. Otherwise I'm very happy with it so far. Shreds through the snow no problem. ... show more

This is very easy to put together wrong and certain aspects if you install incorrectly you are out of luck as there is no fixing it. The directions are cheap and hard to follow. No idea how this has the hisqvarna name on it but this is one of the worst snowblowers I’ve ever owned

I purchased several years ago. all has worked well however, I Purchased a Plate Skid.Shoe Comp part # HUS 583838801 back in November 30, 2022. Purchased from Farmers Exchange in Kennewick, WA. I have followed up with them four times since I purchased the part. They tell me Husqvarna says it's on backorder with no date of delivery. I asked them to please call them and ask what the issue is. They said the would not. I asked for a number they order their parts from and they would not give it to me. I've tried contact Husqvarna direct and get caught on a customer no service recorded phone line. I would think carefully about their lack of service on units they sale. ... show more

It was time to upgrade from my single stage Ariens blower. This Husqvarna unit had everything I wanted (power steering is very nice) and fairly inexpensive. Ordered the day after Christmas and the sellers contacted me the next day to confirm shipping info. Unit arrived as described (crated and carboarded) and once removed from package was a breeze to assemble. All I need now is snow (but it can wait until next year if it wants ;) ... show more

Excellent sturdy 24 inch snow blower. Lots of continuous snow this Covid Dec-Feb in the northern Catskills. Electric start worked each time. I am a 68 year old woman in good shape and had no problem keeping our country house decks cleared to keep the weight of the snow off the decks. The power steering assisted with the maneuverability. The light is bright enough at winter dusk to finish the job. Oh...in reverse it moved a bit too slowly. Otherwise, LOVED using it. ... show more
