  • Picture is pink, description says "black"... it's pink. Also hard cover.

Picture is pink, description says "black"... it's pink. Also hard cover. Similar to the Leuchtturm A5 special edition (120g paper) but has a bullet journal guidebook, stickers, and the Future Log is printed on 4 pages. 120g paper still has some bleed through but much less so than the 80g or 100g paper used in other Leuchtturm notebooks. ... show more

  • It’s great!
Color: Black
It’s great! Paper is very nice. It’s thick enough so it doesn’t bleed or ghost but not too thick where it seems awkward. Enough pages to last quite a bit of time depending on how much you write. Notebook is sturdy. Love the dotted grid with number pages and marks that already have measurements for half page and third page set-ups, if you’d like to use them for your spread. Excellent edition! One comment about the actual listing though. I thought it came with the pan that’s included in the picture however that is just for measurement size so you can see the size of the notebook compared to a pencil. Slightly misleading I think they need to clarify that in the picture itself other than that definitely worth the money! ... show more

  • Beautiful
Color: Black
It is a lovely planner. So pretty and functional. I love the extras like the guides in the page that assist in spread making. The only bummer is that it is much thicker and heavier than the other Leuchtturn bullet journals I’ve used. I know it’s because the paper is thicker and higher quality, so I can forgive it! ... show more

  • The perfect notebook doesn't exi-
Color: Black
I have been taking pen to paper for the better part of 10 years. For better or worse, the slow and purposeful act of writing something down by hand has proved clarifying for my thoughts and galvanizing for my memories. Around 5 years ago, during college, I discovered bullet journaling. Over that time, I have been committed at varying levels to "the practice," and have come up with my own version of it, as Ryder suggests, that works for me. My problem for these years has been one of practical mechanics - namely, what is the best pen and paper to use. Starting with pens, let me tell you - I've tried it all. I've tried fountain pens from various brands, I've tried ballpoints with Parker refills, I've tried custom milled bolt action pens, with ink cartridge I modified from a Uniball 307, I've tried art fine-liners from Micron, Staedtler, Faber-Castell. I've done markers and highlighters and pastel liners. In all of that, amazingly, nothing has ever surpassed the utility of the Sharpie permanent ultra fine marker. I won't explain why. Just trust me when I say that it has been my favorite pen for the better part of 10 years, for a dozen reasons. But for 10 years I have been locked out of heaven, as it were. You simply cannot find paper that the Sharpie doesn't abuse wantonly from the very first touch, unless you go to your local arts and crafts store and get a 200gsm pad of unlined art paper. That doesn't work because there's no lines, let alone the perfect handwriting organization structure - the dot grid. In all my years of journaling and writing, I've tried pretty much every major brand. Moleskine was my first foray, followed by Baron Fig, then Code and Quill, then Rhodia, then Leuchtturm1917. Moleskine played nice with Sharpie fine-liners and your basic ballpoints and pencils and whatnot, and was affordable. Baron Fig had a clean aesthetic, nice notebook sizing, lots of great accessories, plus you got the bonus of supporting a small business. BF worked a treat with fountain pens, the paper has some tooth which I liked for my fountain pens. Code and Quill had impeccable build quality, interesting and inventive layouts, and thicker paper that played really nice with fountain pens. Rhodia was good, not great. I liked the cover material, hated the color of the paper. Then I got a Leuchtturm1917 B5 hardcover. The paper was smooth like butter. Everything else was basically Moleskine but oh, that paper. The problem was, it ghosted. Bad. Almost like Bible paper. I could see at least one, sometimes two pages through the page I was writing on. It got messy. But I persevered because the paper was just so smooth to write on, especially with art fine liners. Then I got news that Leuchtturm was releasing a 120g weight version. THEN I heard the platform was going to be utilized by a second edition of the Bullet Journal. I couldn't resist, and boy am I glad I couldn't. This is best notebook ever created. Let me tell you why. First, it uses the tried and true Bullet Journal platform. This means you have some built-in framework that's super necessary for the practice. Built-in index and future log pages, along with page numbers, take a lot of the slog out of bullet journaling. But the best part is the built in grid markers. No more counting dots to find the center of the page or the thirds mark. It's pre-marked for you with just enough subtlety to disappear once you've made your use of it. A nice bonus is that there is included a short guidebook on the basics of bullet journaling as Ryder created the system. This a helpful start for beginners as well as a handy reference for pros. Some stickers and other tripe is included as well if you're into that sort of thing. Second, the paper is pristine. It has all the smoothness of Leuchtturm paper that makes it such a joy to write on, with none of the ghosting and see-through. It is an absolute pleasure to write on. Thirdly, it handles Sharpie ultra fine ink without skipping a beat. Not only does it not bleed, it doesn't even ghost. This is an absolute win for me. All told, if you're into bullet journaling or thinking about it, this is as good a notebook as you will find. Highly recommend, and will be buying more. ... show more

  • Even better than first addition
Color: Black
More usable pages unlike first addition that had the info on bujo Method take up some of the pages. Thicker weight that you can feel too. Loved the measurement built in front cover. Overall the journal is also thicker than previous one. I didn’t regret my purchase
